Northcoast Mix did a great job for us. They new the traditional songs and they learned a brand new song to perform. My family and guests were all very pleased by the entertainment. We would highly recommend this band!!! Michael Sudak

They were on time, and only took two short brakes. After a slow start really got the crowd up and dancing.

We felt the band played well and we had several compliments on the band from relatives at the wedding. They were somewhat disorganized when it came to the events of the evening--they didn't remember to ask the bridal party to join us half way through our bridal dance, they called my husband and his mother up instead of my father and I for the father/daughter dance, and they didn't group all of the events together at the beginning as we had asked so we had to ask them to do the garter/bouquet toss before our photographer left. They also did not play several songs we had requested earlier and one song my husband requested several times himself.

Guys did a real good job! We had them play for my dads retirement party. They were on time and ready to go when we were. They played a lot of polka which made my dad happy. Wouldn't even think twice about hiring them again. A great group of musicians!

This band was absolutely perfect. They played in an outside concert in our downtown's gazebo Saturday evening. We specifically requested polka music and the band delivered just that! Thanks for coming!!

Everyone enjoyed the party. The band played better polkas than there other songs. The biggest disappointment for me was we couldn't hear anything thru the microphone when we were trying to make announcements. Wasn't until the very end that they realized why. The speaker was turned backwards. No one heard what the bridal party was saying. They also had no songs downloaded that I requested to play during there breaks. Everyone still enjoyed the party regardless of the few thing I mentioned. I was glad to at least have a band . I did not feel the need to tip them. Or have them play another set which we usually do when we're enjoying the music. 1-5...2

I'm sorry you had a bad experience. I would like to address a couple of issues you mentioned: We are well-versed in the proper set-up of our sound equipment, and no speakers were set up backwards. I instructed the bridal party in the proper way to speak into the microphone, but their unfamiliarity with its use caused the problem of not being heard. You did not request any specific songs to be played during our breaks, though we are always willing to accommodate. We played the two songs you did request from me two days prior to the event during the party. Our band has received over 30 positive reviews on Gigmasters. I'm sorry we didn't meet your expectations.

Absolutely wonderful experience from the booking through the performance. They even took the time to learn a special song for us on short notice. Great sound, great crowd engagement, our guests kept commenting on the exceptional quality of music we had and they want us to get the NorthCoast Mix again for events in the future.
