Rob was fantastic to work with. He was responsive, friendly, and right on time. Everything was handled professionally, and his attention to detail really showed before and during the event. We had Rob perform at our wedding ceremony and reception and a short review cannot describe how great our experience was with him. He set up a call early in the process to go over song choices for the ceremony, and even learned a song for us that was not already in his repertoire for my wife's walk down the aisle. He arrived early to go through some of the precession logistics with us, and had all the right tools for the job. During the reception, he filled the room with great music for the night and every guest complimented his talents.

As soon as I found Rob on Gigmasters, I knew I needed to book him for our wedding immediately if he was still available. He has a lot of great recordings and a few videos on his profile but they do not do him justice. He’s even better in person! We had a small wedding of 40 people but no joke I think every single person young and old made a point to let us know how impressed they were by him. The music and performance set the tone for our perfect special day! Rob was very professional as well. He was very responsive, easy to work with and he even learned a few songs for us! He’s an amazing and talented musician and we would highly recommend him.

I really wish I could give Rob Ranney higher then 5 stars! He exceeded our expectations! I contacted Rob for a surprise proposal & from start to finish he was outstanding. He always responded immediately, followed up with every detail and left no stone unturned. Rob arrived in plenty of time and endure freezing temperatures on the beach. He even extended his evening with us and spent the evening singing and entertaining the family. His voice is so soothing and spot on. He took requests and never missed a beat. Rob has a calm presence about him. From the moment you meet him you feel like a friend. Do not hesitate in contacting Rob Ranney he is truly amazing!

Rob was amazing! I went to hear him with a friend about 8 months ahead of time and booked him the following week. We spoke a few days before the wedding to make sure everything was good to go, and then left him to it! Rob was super professional and knows how to work a crowd... when he arrived, he asked if we wanted slow music or stuff to get a party going, and we told him to just do what he thought was best (same when he asked if we wanted him to stand in one spot or move around). He ended up doing a little bit of everything and it was absolutely perfect for the feel we were looking for! Thanks so much!

We recently hired Rob for our ceremony and cocktail hour on Block Island. Before the event, we reviewed the songs that he would be playing. He was very flexible, professional, and easy to work with. He made our lives much easier on the day of the wedding! His acoustic guitar playing and voice are incredible! When the cocktail hour was over, we needed an extra microphone for a speech and Rob stayed for at least an extra hour so that we could use his microphone! We highly recommend Rob to anyone looking for a talented and extremely nice musician! We would hire him again in a second! Thank you Rob!!!

Words can't accurately describe the joy that Rob brought to our wedding reception. He was an absolute blessing! Guests are still asking “Who was that guy?” He set the tone for what was planned as a casual wedding on the rooftop at Lord Jeffery Inn in Amherst, MA. His instrumentals during and after the wedding ceremony were perfectly played, providing the start to a truly outstanding evening. He delivered soft current/contemporary ballads to start and finished with more danceable classic favorites. Rob is an unbelievable musician, and even a better human being!
Do yourself a favor. Look no further. Rob Ranney will take any function from good to OUTSTANDING!!

Rob played at my daughters college graduation party this past weekend and was terrific. All my guests complimented on how talented he was. Rob has an amazing voice and played beautifully. My daughters friends loved the music even though most listened to rap. I just wish I could of sat down and enjoyed his performance too but I was running the party. Rob is easy to talk to and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend Rob to play at another event. Best of luck to Rob we are all now big fans great job and well done.

Your search is over. Book Rob now!! We booked him for our November, 2015 wedding in Lenox and we can't stop talking about him. He is THAT good! First, his professionalism and responsiveness is spot on. Even more importantly, his talent is off the charts incredible. We selected a Jack Johnson song as a recessional at the ceremony and his timing was perfect and his delivery exceptional. He wowed us during cocktail hour with upbeat tunes and then mellowed it out for dinner as we requested. He learned a song for our first dance and then got the party going after dinner. We can't say enough great things about him! I may plan a party just to hear him again! Book him now!

We hired Rob to perform at our Cape Cod beach wedding and he was absolutely fantastic. Rob is hugely talented and brought a great positive energy to our intimate ceremony and reception (just 16 attendees). We live in Colorado and couldn't meet Rob in person ahead of the event, however we felt very confident in our choice early on... his prompt, upbeat and thorough communication had us assured that everything would go well on the big day - and it did! We highly recommend Rob and would book him again in a heartbeat for another special occasion.
