Mark performed well and people had kind things to say about him. He followed my suggestions in terms of sound volume, breaks, and song choice. He did what we wanted him to do. I recommend him to anyone and would have given him perfect scores but sometimes that appears to people that not much thought went into the rating. I did give it thought. Great job!

This band needs way more than five stars. Our families are still talking about the show of a lifetime Mark and his band put on. I’m a war veteran and they out together the most beautiful arrangement for the ceremony then at the reception they blew the roof off the place. Everyone including my new mother in law was getting down! The set list was perfect! Mark easily answered every question we had up to and including on our wedding day! He set up early, made all the announcements, and put us at ease. My family and friends were stunned by their performance and there is no price you can put on the memories Mark help us make. Would be a bargain at 10 times the price!

This is not the first time we had Mark out here singing for us. And like always all I heard after his performance was how good he was.. So yes we will definitely have him back here again.. Hiring Mark will not get you diseponted I can testify to that.. One of the best in the business. And with a very responsible price. Thanks Mark for another great weekend.

Minivan Mark performed at a birthday party for my Dad's 70th. There were 3 generations of party-goers and Mark did a great job engaging them all. We had my parents, siblings, and kids all out on the dance floor and singing along! Mark arrived early and was all set up before we arrived. He even learned a new song that my parents wanted to dance to. Mark also did a great job of working around the toasts & meals and checked in regularly to make sure everything was as expected. He even started playing a little early while the guests were arriving.... Mark took our event to the next level and I'd definitely recommend him!

Minivan Mark was incredible and a huge hit with our guests at our Wedding Welcome party in Asheville! He surpassed all expectations. He brought a great energy while playing, and had a wide variety of songs that worked well with our 120 guests. We look forward to hiring him for future parties and events! We had so much, and the compliments on Mark are still rolling in.

These guys rock! They were exactly what my wife and I were looking for to celebrate our wedding night. Mark and the band were very professional, providing 3 different setups for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and the reception. The energy was great and the set list was perfect. The dance floor was packed for 2 full sets and a few encores. Guests said it felt like they were at a rock show, because they were! If you are looking for a non traditional wedding band and like good rock and roll these are your guys.

Fantastic band we had for a corporate party. Our guests were impressed with their professional sound and performance. We loved the ensemble which features an energetic three-piece horn section which really sets them apart. Their song selections were favorites among all. The leader, Mark, was friendly and engaging. We couldn't have been happier with this group!

I’ll start by saying I will DEFINITELY book this band again! They packed the house from the beginning and kept the crowd there the whole time. They did an excellent job of reading their audience and tailored their show to our needs. This band has great cohesiveness and a vibe to match!

Speakeasy played for our son's Rehearsal Dinner and after party. Mark was very accommodating and professional right from the start. He was always easy to reach and always responded to my emails and calls. They played dinner/cocktail music for the Dinner and revved it up for the after party! Mark & Speakeasy were wonderful! The band was really easy to work with, and Mark was able to answer all of my prebooking questions. They rocked it out at our wedding!! My dad told me “his nervousness went away, when he walked into the venue and heard the band warming up. “ Their sound was awesome at our venue and all of our guests were extremely impressed. They got everyone up on the dance floor and the band appealed to a variety of ages! What really put them over the top is when our guests chanted “One more song!” and the band played two encores’! I would totally recommend Speakeasy for your wedding or any fun event!
