Potomac Jazz was the perfect choice for our reception this past week. They were prompt, professional and very accommodating. I'd be happy to recommend them to others and would hire them again in a minute if the need arose.

The band was very talented and they created the atmosphere that we were going for, "Winter Wonderland." We needed a mic last minute and the keyboard player came up with a quick solution by offering his amp to hook up a wireless mic. The band was prompt and courteous. Overall the guests were pleased with the performance. However, I would strongly recommend that they do not ask for drink tickets for the bar and most importantly not drink at corporate function while perfoming. I found that unprofessional.

With respect to the the drinks, I just wanted to make clear to prospective customers that in our years of performing at corporate events we are accustomed to having a glass of wine or a beer during a break when available, but that is the extent of it. And if any client prefers that we don't, we will certainly honor that request. We value the client and the music too much!!

These guys were great to work with! Stan and his crew played for cocktail hour at my wedding and everyone loved them. They took our (somewhat out-of-the-box) requests for first dance and father-daughter dance and executed them flawlessly. Very affordable and great to work with. Thanks guys!

I can't thank enough to Potomac Jazz Band. Our wedding was really amazing with the band. Jazz type music was amazing. And Stan and his band member are very professional, kind and excellent musicians. I highly recommend this band for your event if you want to satisfy or more.

Potomac Jazz Project provided the music for the cocktail hour at my wedding, and they were great! As a self-proclaimed jazz aficionado, I knew from day one that I wanted to book a jazz group, and read great reviews about PJP. They were quite affordable compared to other groups we reached out to, and had great audio clips online. We booked them a little less than a year before our wedding through GigMasters (super easy!), and from there, it was a very straightforward process of communicating what we wanted and confirming logistics. Stan was responsive and accommodating, throughout, and PJP did a great job day-of (even with a venue change for rain). Highly recommend!

The Potomac Jazz Project was amazing!!! Stan was extremely responsive to calls and emails from beginning to end. We had a rough idea about the sound we wanted but no specific songs in mind, so we sent Stan a few video examples and let him take it from there. They delivered exactly what we were looking for! It was the perfect ambiance music for our traditional hotel reception and they really stepped it up when in the spotlight. Our guests loved them and so did we! We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a classy, professional, experienced band.

I truly could not have been any happier with my selection of Potomac Jazz Project for my Dad's retirement party. The band was one of the hardest decisions for me to make because my dad loves live music and this party was a huge deal to me and my siblings. They were easy to deal with, very accommodating and I heard nothing but compliments on the selection of the band. I would use them again in a heartbeat! Thank you all for your help in making the party a huge success!!!

The Potomac Jazz Project was great! All of our guests loved them and when everyone left our party(my father's 70th birthday party), they continued to play just for my family. It like being in our own personal jazz club. :-) I really can't say enough nice things about this group(professionalism, set-up, developed music set, etc.). Would and plan on using them again in a heart beat, I just need to plan another party. Thank you again Potomac Jazz Project.....

Stan and his band have been wonderful, they were punctual and extremely accommodating to my request even though my request change quite a few times before the event. They are excellent players and it was a priviledge to have them play at Windward's corporate event and this is a band that I will definitely use time and time again. The Potomac Jazz project was absolutely awesome, they really created the musical atmosphere I wanted to achieve. The employees which were a mixture of individuals really liked the music and they were dancing and this was not a "real dancing" crowd, but they were dancing due to the fabulous job the band did.

Potomac Jazz Project played both the ceremony and reception music for our wedding. They did an amazing job! We received many compliments. The jazz, bossa nova, and standards they played were lovely and fun to dance to. Would recommend them to anyone!!
