My family was looking to hire someone to sing at our mother's funeral service. We interviewed a few candidates and selected Maria Peceli, for not only her singing ability, but also her excellent suggestions of song selections. What can I say other than, Maria Peceli was just heaven sent for my sister’s 60th birthday celebration! We communicated a few times prior.! The restaurant was extremely busy and our reservation was pushed to a later time, but Maria patiently waited. As she sang, I watched my sister laugh and shed some happy tears. This was the most moving experience for all of us at the table. My sister said “What a special message from Maria! Thank you for such a beautiful gift of song and poetry. Maria was perfect for our Catholic wedding mass. We were in a bit of a panic because our previously booked singer had to cancel within 2 weeks of our wedding. Maria was very responsive, easy to coordinate with, and knew all the songs we had already approved with the organist and Church. Payment and coordination was also seamless. Day-of, she was great as well! This went from being a pretty stressful last minute wedding item to a very easy one and we were so thankful!

Maria was a delight to speak with in preparing the event and planning her performance. She arrived early and was fully prepared, even dressed in warm clothing as we were outdoors and weather was cooler than we had hoped. Maria's voice carried beautifully to the entire space, and her performance was utterly fabulous. Her arias held the audience captive and even caused a tear or two to fall, while her traditional hymn was powerful and evocative, and her closing song was heartwarming as we had hoped. I am delighted with what Maria did for our family and friends and would love to book her again one day.

Maria has an amazing voice and talent. I hired her for a Catholic Church wedding I planned and coordinated on Nov 6. She sang religious hymns and contemporary songs such as The Prayer, All I ask of You, You Raise Me Up, Ave Maria and blew the guests away with her powerhouse vocals.
