David Zipse played piano at a recent birthday celebration for my husband at our home in Maryland. All interactions preceding this event went smoothly, David arrived on time, and was very easy to interact with during performance. David is a highly trained pianist and he played jazz, rag time music, dance songs and even classical pieces requested by guests. It was such a joy to have a pianist of such a caliber perform for us and our guests. He made party very special. Will hire him again for an important occasion in the future.

David was perfect in every way. He played a 3.5 hour wedding reception set with just a rough outline of a playlist, he used an older piano and even did some ad hoc repairs before/during the set, he was incredible. 10/10 would hire again. THANK YOU DAVID!!

David was incredible! He accommodated all of our requests, played everything our guests requested, including some songs he had never even heard before. We thought some requests would be too difficult, but David made them look easy.
He can also read the room well, and will play just the right piece to match, whether it is a calm dinner with the lights dimmed, or a piece for the small kids to make them dance and laugh.
I would gladly hire David again, and would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a pianist for their event. He can play just about anything, and will bring smiles to guests of all ages.

David Zipse was absolutely amazing, and I can't recommend him enough! He made my wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour & dinner) so magical; we received so many compliments from our guests about how much they loved the pianist and how splendidly he played! Every step of the way, David was so accommodating and professional; we made dozens of special requests for songs, including a very complex rendition of our favorite Steely Dan song for our recessional hymn, that David learned from a youTube video I sent him and totally nailed it- he is SO talented! We asked him to come a little earlier to rehearse with our wedding singer, and he came even earlier and stayed late.

David played at our recent trade show in Atlantic City. Over the course of our two-day, 10-hour event David remained highly energetic and pumped out the hits one after another. I cannot speak more highly of David. I had booked him to play during the cocktail hour for my wedding reception.
As soon as I booked him, he reached out to me with a professional e-mail to get more information on my event. He was very accommodating to my requests, and prompt with responding.
For the event itself, David showed up early to set up and briefly met with me to formally introduce himself. When the event started all I could hear was beautiful piano music coming from the cocktail room.
I asked friends what they thought of the music and they LOVED it.
David was not only professional, but an amazing pianist. I highly recommend him.

We hired David to perform at our corporate holiday party (cocktail hour) for about 100 people and he was superb. Very professional, showed up on time and played a great selection. He was also accommodating with our accounting policies and was very communicative throughout the booking process. We hired David for our twins Communion Party on 5/12. He arrived early to set up, and was dressed professional.
His music was outstanding...all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed his song choices! There were 14 children at our party, he had them dancing and having fun also! David kept the music flowing well..according to the 'tone' of the party! He also played Happy Birthday so we could all sing to my father, as well as played a request so my niece could sing! It was flawless! It was a truly positive experience and I would recommend David to friends & family! Thank you again, David for helping make our children's day extra special!

Both young, old and middle aged thoroughly enjoyed his beautiful repitoire of songs that he so masterfully played at my parents 90th birthday party. He was hired for 2 1/2 hours but ended up playing for 4 hours - we did not want him to leave! The event was perfect and he made it even more special. Thank you David!

Words cannot describe how THRILLED we were with David from planning stages through performance!!! He was professional and courteous throughout the whole experience. His responses to emails were almost immediate and he was extremely accommodating to all of our requests. Above all, his performance that evening for my mother's 70th birthday party was out of this world. We had 40 people attend her party, many whom were former Broadway musicians, and every single one of them had extraordinary compliments to David's performance. In fact, I had at least 5 people tell me they wanted to book him for parties of their own. Would absolutely recommend him!!!
