I hired the Greg Lamont Trio for a reception that I was organizing from out of state. They were wonderful to work with from the start. Great communication. On site, they were very kind, professional, and most importantly...sounded fantastic! I had several guests tell me how wonderful they were, and even passed along their contact information to a few people who wanted to hire them for their own events! If you are looking for a live music act for an event, look no further and hire them now!

f you're looking for the consumate trio (piano, bass, drums) for your event, look no further than Greg Lamont. Mr. Lamont handled our entire event - from start to finish - like a true professional. Moreover, in terms of musical ability, you won't find a better group anywhere. The talent of this group amazed me - and I've heard the best. Finally, they took every request in stride. Professionally dressed, they arrived on time, and we practically had to beg them to take a break. They really enjoy performing.

The Greg Lamont Trio was fantastic at our wedding! We love the originality and energy in their sound. I am a musician and wanted to avoid schmaltzy background music: they were perfect. They are high caliber musicians and brought so much life to the party. Greg was excellent in communication at every step, and they were completely reliable and really wonderful people to work with. I hired the Greg Lamont Trio to play during my wedding reception and they were fantastic. They arrived promptly on time and played almost the whole night. You could tell that they love playing music. They had such joy in performing. Everyone who was at the reception was raving about them. I would hire them again for other events! They were very flexible with the space and we had great communication leading up to the event. This is really a fantastic group and you can't beat their talent.

I have hired the Greg Lamont Trio for a friend a few times and they have always been excellent to work with and they are very talented. I recently hired them for an adult birthday party I was having and they were just as great as before! The guests loved them and the guest of honor wished I had hired them for an additional hour as he and the guests still wanted to hear more. I would highly recommend this trio!

The Greg Lamont Trio is OUTSTANDING! They entertained at our annual Christmas party last evening, and I have been fielding questions all morning from my guests about where I found them and how to book them. Our guests hovered around the trio all evening and listened in amazement to jazz played masterfully. The house was electrified. We cannot stress enough what a gem The Greg Lamont Trio is, nor can we recommend them highly enough. The trio members arrived on time and were impeccably dressed. They had an easy and friendly manner. We had specific requests, which they happily accommodated. We will, without a doubt, call on The Greg Lamont Trio again. Captivating!

Perfect. Exactly what we wanted at our wedding! It was a trio, and I asked for a sax player and he provided! If you want classic jazz songs and American songbook but not a whole swing orchestra, hire Greg and his trio. If you want nice cocktail music, hire Greg and his trio. He is the most reasonably priced highly talented and professional musician I have found and could have hoped. Truly a class act. You won't be disappointed for any black tie, cocktail or fundraiser affair. He can do it all!

WOW! We were so impressed with Mr. Lamont. He and the band arrived early, in tuxedos for our fancy affair, played GORGEOUSLY, and even stayed an extra hour or so for free because people were dancing. We've never had people dance at our events. It was incredible. Their playlist, their talent - just spot on. I've already recommended them to other Associations and even friends for weddings! They are both centerpiece and background at the same time, which is all but impossible. These guys could totally get away with charging twice as much because they were worth every penny and then some. My boss was so pleased with me!

Mr. Lamont is a consummate professional. The trio was on time, professionally dressed and the process went smoothly. The trio was a birthday present for my dad's 70th surprise birthday party. My dad is a jazz enthusiast and couldn't stop talking about The Lamont trio's talent. Our 55 guests couldn't stop raving either. The Trio also took requests and played my dad's favorite standard jazz classics. The Lamont Trio took a regular party and turned it into an unforgettable evening!

Greg and his 2 partners did not play due to rain and their unwillingness to offer a Plan B. They were late, were disrespectful, slow, argumentative and unclear on the plans we had laid out and agreed to. This was one of the worst vendor experiences I have ever had in 18 years of running my business coast to coast. They are not professionals.

It is unfortunate that you were displeased with how your event turned out. Yes, we were to play outdoors in the courtyard, but it rained, and of course we could not play on our electronic equipment in the rain. We asked if we could move indoors to the lobby and play, but you insisted that we could not. It's almost ridiculous to assert the we did not understand what was expected. You were not prepared for the obvious inconvenience of moving the event to the indoors. I'm sure I have never experienced such haphazard planning from a professional event planner myself.

The Greg Lamont Trio is fantastic!! They are extremely talented and were able to accommodate specific song requests right before our wedding. Their sound is perfect too - I was worried a trio wouldn't be loud enough for our wedding with 100 people, but they were perfect. They were also flexible and played in one area for our cocktail hour and another during dinner. I'm already planning another event where I want the trio to play.
