This was kind of a difficult event, as it was a post-funeral reception. The piano ended up outside on the deck of a beachside condo overlooking the Pacific in Venice and it was all perfect for the time and place. Made a pretty "down" event "up" and the piano helped make all the difference. It was important to make the right tune selections, and he did everything just right.

It was wonderful having such amazing entertainment at our event last Saturday. Taking a blind shot at a musician can be risky. That said, I never had a doubt on it. I just scheduled the best and let it to the professional to make it happen. And a true professional you are!!!! Everyone was impressed, and even today they are still commenting on the entertainment. You made the wheel house ceremony a true dream for us. Bottom line, you pushed what we had worried was going to be an "average" ceremony, well over the top. Thank You

He was great. Super professional, accommodative, helpful. Went out of his way to help us make sure we had great ceremony. Showed up on time even early, brought extra equipment for the ceremony, and was a pleasure to deal with. All in all, a great experience. Would recommend highly. Thanks!

I was impressed with Vince Torbey from the moment I made contact with him. He is an outstanding musician and a gifted pianist! In addition, his personal warmth, his professionalism, and his interest in his clients' needs -- all make Vince an outstanding musician who deserves to be #1 on Gig Master's list, or anyone's list, for that matter! He recently played for my daughter's wedding ceremony and at the cocktail hour following. Vince "made" the event -- the music was absolutely beautiful! He was exceptionally accommodating, went out of his way to rehearse with our soloist, and provided invaluable guidance in planning our event. I can't recommend Vince highly enough!

We hired Vince to play a Baby Grand Piano at a special promotional event. We set up a microphone and invited passerbys to request a song from Vince, then get up and sing it. Vince knew a lot of songs. Any one that he didn't know, he'd find on his iphone and practice for few minutes. His playing was beautiful. More importantly, he was always enthusiastic. Vince played the piano during our ceremony and he did a great job! He played the songs that I selected. I had a friend sing a solo and he played beautifully with her. He was very accommodating and practiced with her before the day of the wedding. He was very professional, arrived early and started playing for our guests before they arrived. I highly recommend him! There is no place to rate for 10 stars, or for that matter 100 stars! Vince is the best! Timely responses, excellent price. I hired him for my mother's 98th birthday to play for her at her care home. She was so. . . Surprised and loved it all. She and my family kept saying, "He's so good. He kept going from one song to the next and that he was so personable.". I strongly reccomend him for any event you may have.
