Skip has been playing solo piano and piano/ vocal piano for over 35 years in Southeastern Virginia and Northeastern North Carolina. Among his longer jobs are a seven year, five night per week stint at the Norfolk Airport Hilton and a six year job at the Pavilion Towers Hotel in Virginia Beach. He has played at The Homestead, The Greenbrier, the Canadian Embassy and Nordstroms, just to name a few.  
Skip plays and sings a large variety of popular and jazz songs, along with some classical and country.  Requests from guests at your event will be no problem as he also carries a library of over 5,000 songs on every job. If you desire a song he doesn't already have, he'll be happy to learn new material for your occasion.
In 2001, he was selected to perform at the Presidential Inaugural Ball with the Charles Darden Group as musical director. 
While Lawrence Welk star Tom Netherton was at the Williamsburg Music Theater (2002-2004), Skip was his music director, leading an eight piece group.
These days he stays busy playing a variety of solo and duo (with Skylark’s vocalist) gigs and his band, Skylark. (Available in anywhere from (2-10 pieces).
He was on staff at the Navy School of Music in Virginia Beach for 12 years, where he taught solo piano and keyboards to incoming Navy and Marine keyboard students.
