Stevie Ray Moseley Band Rock Band from Lawrenceville, GA

Stevie Ray Moseley has been playing since he was 6 years old.Started learning delta blues and Stevie Ray Vaughn.Growing up in Florida in the 90's he started hanging out with the local metal scene.Among the bands he is affiliated with like distant cousins is Acid Bath, Crowbar, Drugen Horde, and Down like bands.His favorite guitars players were Zakk Wylde and Dimebag Darrell.Allways playing acoustic and resonater he attended three National Guitar Workshops where he studied extensive theory.He used to really be into Ozzy and White Zombie he studied Randy Rhoads and Jake E. Lee.At one seminar he got to meet 80's shedder yngwie Malsteen which was groundbreaking guitar work for him.After playing with metal shred thrash bands.He picked up the Allman Brothers and every band that came with them he claims they REDEEMED his soul.Duane Allman and Derek Trucks .Were such a positive influence on him.Then picking up a gig on the chitlin circut(mostly African American)Rythym and Blues band like David Brinston and playing shows with Willie Clayton.He also got big into going to Gospel Music Churches and doing hip-hop projects for friends.He opened up for Bo Diddly when he was 12.Then he meet Space Medicine a local jam band that ran the panhandle, did festivals and Recorded.He played with them for 3 years.Then after that ran out he started his own band called Moseley Brown Band and winning awards like best guitar players on the Emerald Coast and nominated for best dance band.They opened up for guys like Fusebox Funk(J-Dash band which he is the #1 independent selling single)and Col.Bruce Hampton also playing with Widespread Panic and Aquarium Rescue Unit Jimmy Herring.They have played the Down on the Farm and Bear Creek music festival.Stevie now jams with members of Derek Trucks Band and the Jam-Band players but still pursueing guys like Eddie Van Halen and Joe Satriani and Eric Johnson.He has one Cd out right now "South of the Moseley Dixon" which Paul Hornsby the original Capricorns Producer Enginered his cd for the Moseley Brown Band which you can find in every online Distibuter like Itunes and Amazon.
