Art from Yesterday’s News was amazing! We had a wine tasting party for our Mom’s 60th/Graduation party and he was the perfect addition for a good time ambiance in the backyard. Yesterday’s News was an awesome band from the initial contact until after the performance. They were very easy to work with and were very responsive with all communications. These guys were amazing! From working with my dad to select his favorite music, to coordinating with other activities that night, Yesterday's news could not have been more accommodating. And to top it off, their talent was amazing and all our guests of all ages were wiggling in their seats and singing along. I would NOT HESITATE to hire these guys again! This band was so easy to work with and so incredibly accommodating with our event. We have an older crowd, who doesn't want the music too loud, but loves to dance. That was my request, and they played exactly per my request. Their communication before the event was excellent, and we plan to hire them again for future parties at our club. Yesterday's News was amazing and I would not hesitate to hire them again. I hired Yesterday's News for my sons 11th birthday party. My son is really into the 1950's and that was the theme for the party. My son was able to look at the list of songs that Yesterday's News offers to sing and he picked out about 24 songs. The band arrived early to set up and played and sang the songs chosen as if they had originally came up with the songs. Everyone at the party LOVED Yesterday's News. The kids had a blast and the grown ups felt like they were back in 1950. The band was very professional and accommodating. I could not be more pleased.

Art and Yesterdays News were amazing. Extremely professional, talented, responsive, and perfect for our event or any event. I only had them for a couple hours at our company event, but I could have listened to them all day. We had a Hawaiian theme and they were so thoughtful to put an island-feel playlist together and included a steel drum. The live music was wonderful and I will easily contact them again for another event.

It was a pleasure (and quite fun!) to host this musical duo. Arrangements and communications were easy and prompt.
Art tailored the song selections to our group. He gave short introductions before most of the songs, which added to the interest. Both Art and Gordon are quite personable and had a good rapport with the audience. Our group had a very good time, whether they were dancing or just listening and clapping along. Highly recommended!!

It's been over two weeks since I had my party and people are still talking about this band. I really liked their sound when I heard the demo and knew I was going to find a way to incorporate them into our party. That turned out to be a great decision. These guys were the consummate professionals that I was anticipating. My expectations were very high from the start and as you can see from my ratings they delivered in every category. I actually don’t know how they could have possibly been better in any category. All I can say is this: Listen to the demo, if you like their sound, hire them. You will not regret it. You'll be patting yourself on the back for doing it.

Booked Yesterdays News as a surprise for a neighborhood BBQ, known as Meatapahlooza. The hosts were thrilled! The band’s sound quality was very accommodating. Conversations could be heard without having to scream over the music. Being a backyard event, this was huge! Guests enjoyed their style and music. Comments are still made about Art’s customized rendition of “Margaritaville”, personalized for the hosts. Art and Joe are professional, yet down-to-earth guys. We definitely made the right decision with this duo! Check out Yesterdays News. You won’t be disappointed. They’re the perfect addition to any event!

Art & Joe with Yesterday News were great! They played are our backyard BBQ / family reunion. They brought tamborines, maracas, etc for the guests to play along with for some interactive fun. If you like Beatles, Eagles, Tom Petty, Jimmy Buffet - classic rock - you'll love these guys and their acoustic flavor of these classic tunes. Sound was great, and EVERY ONE of my guests raved about the band!! Very affordable - and a class act! If you're on the fence, HIRE them, you won't be disappointed!! A+++++ all around!

We've hired Yesterdays News on several occasions over the past few years. Always a great experience! They've never had to cancel a date, always show up on time, their song list continues to grow, and they continually update their equipment. Their sound is great and their versatility / adaptability is amazing. They have even agreed to learn new songs and tailored songs to fit the event. Yesterdays News always gives us our money's worth and their fees are very competitive. We're looking forward to next time.

The overall experience was just excellent. The band sounded great, was accommodating, and resilient through the cold and rainy weather. Everything I heard from those at the party was "that band is really, really good!" The songs and talent were great and just perfect--they really helped make the party fun through the rain and cold. The band was very accommodating during the planning phases. I highly recommend Yesterday News!

Yesterday's News did an awesome job at our Christmas party at our house. They played a few sets and then got the party going with some karaoke. We have this party ever year for the past ten years and our guests all agreed it was the best one yet. Art was great, easy to work with and very professional. I would recommend them.
