Hal was great. He was punctual and professional, and his music was fantastic. He was a great fit for a Caribbean celebration, and his choice of music was perfect. He even came back early from a set break to sing Happy Birthday to the guest of honor, not hesitating a moment. By the end of the night, everyone was singing along with Hal and dancing. I would definitely recomend Hal and Gigmasters for making party planning easy and fun.

Hal was great, now over a month later I still have people asking me who he was and how they could contact him if they ever needed to. My event was a surprise anniversary party for my grandparents, aside from them being surprised they loved Hal. That is the only thing my grandfather keeps talking about. "Wow, that music was great, it was really a good idea" he says. Thank You Hal!!

At first I was a little hesitant about hiring a performer for my party over the internet but now I am very glad that I did. After the initial booking, I contacted Hal several times prior to the party and I was able to talk to him every time. I discussed with him what I wanted for the party and he did that and more. He was very professional, arrived on time, played everything we wanted to hear and was a great entertainer. My guests ranged in age from 30's to 70's and Hal played something for everyone. I would definitely recommend him and will use him in the future.

OMG Hal was unbelievable and I would recommend him in a minute. My husband and I threw my daughter Lauren a college graduation pool party on Labor Day weekend and we wanted the theme to have a very laid back feel to it yet still have that great party atmosphere as well. Hal sure came through. He played an outstanding mix of Reggae, Caribbean and Jimmy Buffett music, he sounds awsome. My daughter was extremely happy. Thank you Hal you made her party one she will never forget, Our friends, family and neighbors had the best time.

Great time, great atmosphere with the tropical theme I had for my husband's "40th" birthday party. Hal played just about anything we requested and he sounds like "Jimmy Buffet". Will be calling on him again for a summer party at our home next time!

Hal played during the cocktail hour of our wedding on the roofdeck of the Tribeca Rooftop in NYC- Yes he traveled all the way to NY for us! He truly made the event that much even more unbeliveable. Everyone loved him and they are still talking about how great he was. Hal was extrememly professional from the first day we talked to him. He learned some new songs that we reqested and we could not have asked for a better experience. We will definitely call Hal for our next event or recommend him a million times over!!!! Hal was a great singer, once he showed up and began. He was scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm. He called at 6:32 to say that he was stuck in traffic over 1 hour away. He then said, "I know I'm suppose to start at 7:30, but it looks like I won't be getting there until then." There was never a question of time, he was always to start at 6:30. He did play 1 hr later than scheduled, but that wasn't when I feel needed him. I needed him there at the start. I wanted entertainment for people who wouldn't know anyone except my parents. I wanted him there when my dad arrived. His entertainment was enjoyed by all, once he did begin.

I did arrive late due to circumstances WAY beyond my control. This has never happened to me before, so I am at a loss to explain it. I left three hours before the party started. According to the directions, the party location was 1 hour and 40 minutes away, but I never anticipated sitting in traffic for over 3 hours. There are no short-cuts between my home and the location of the party. There was a 23 mile backup due to an accident ahead. I couldn't turn around and I couldn't move forward any faster than the long line of cars in front of me until they cleared the scene.
Once again, I wish to offer my heartfelt apology to Jen. I tried to compensate by playing

Hal was great! I was impressed with his preparation for our affair. He even learned a new song in advance per our request. His vocals and musical talent were perfect for the event. Hal will be coming back. Our customers (and staff) LOVED him! We would like to set up a regular gig with him. I was a little worried when I looked at the song list, how one person could pull off so much variety - but he did it, and then some. He performed his own variations of some classics and gave them a Reggae twist, and they were everyone's favorites. I was looking for strictly a "Reggae" player, but got SO much more, and glad I did.
