ABOUT US Are you looking for a FUN, DIVERSE, HIGH ENERGY, INTERACTIVE band that will have your dance floor hopping all night and guests talking for days?! If so, SHINE is the band for you! We customize everything, feature female and male lead vocalists, learn new songs, DJ anything, provide top notch emcee, and much more! Check out our consistent 5 star reviews, video and awards! We are a four piece band consisting of Melissa (lead vocals), Mike (bass, vocals), Sal (guitar, vocals), and Eric (drums). WHAT WE PROVIDE Whether your event is indoors or outdoors; for a large or small group; corporate, public, or private, Shine's energy and experience will be sure to get your guests on the dance floor. Our band has a lot of wedding reception and private party experience, so be sure to check out our Gigmasters reviews. When you book Shine for your event, you will receive all of the following included in the booking: - a live performance tailored to your specifications - detailed pre-event logistical and timeline customization, and one-on-one consultations with the appropriate individuals - a full PA system - seamless and organized emcee services - DJ'd breaks with customizable playlists - DJ'd background music if needed - stage lighting - we'll even learn a new song for your event! Acoustic guitar music is also available for ceremonies a la carte. WHERE WE'VE PLAYED Shine has played at many weddings; corporate parties; community, clubhouse, university, and charity events; Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light the night Celebration (Featured band Koka Booth 6 times running); Durham's Brightleaf Square Summer Concert Series; Apex's Depot Concert Series; Summer Games of the Special Olympics (featured band at Walnut Creek); and a variety of bars including: The Big Easy, The Oxford, Wild Wing Cafe (Raleigh and Cary), Mac's Tavern, 42nd Street Oyster Bar, Charlie's Pub & Grille, Devines Restaurant and Sports Bar, Sportspage, Overtime Sports Pub, Carolina Ale House (Raleigh), The Longbranch, Tir Na Nog, Fat Daddy's, and more.
