This group is AMAZING! True professionals from start to finish and so kind. They made an effort to learn and play a couple songs by an artist completely out of their wheelhouse for my 9yr old which made her feel so special. Our guests were blown away with their talent! They have such a variety of music which is harder to find. Would 1000% book them again. They truly SHINE!

Shine performed at our Celebration of Life event with over 200 people in attendance. The age group was 94 to infant and everyone enjoyed the band greatly. The band went out of their way to interact with the crowd, thank all the guests as well as to introduce our speaker. The music was very well played and if I have another event, I will certainly hire them. Truly a talented and professional group of musicians.

Shine was great, they were so easy to work with and had great communications building up to the event. When the event started WOW. They are an amazing band with a great singer. They got the crowd dancing, singing and totally involved. I had so many people come up to me and ask about the band. You can't go wrong with Shine. Would certainly hire them again.

The band SHINE performed at our 4th of July Blowout! party at Bartlett Reserve in Durham, NC and were the hit of the event. Great musicians, excellent vocalist, wonderful interaction with audience. They were here for 4 hours in the heat of the day, playing for 3 hours and being our DJ for 30 minutes at beginning and end of event. We had guests from 23 to 103, and everyone loved the music! Professional, friendly, engaging - great people and great music!

Love Shine. Looked for a band for a big birthday party for our son. Found Shine through an Internet search. Boy, our expectations were far exceeded! All of the arrangements before the event went smoothly, efficiently, professionally. Sal talked to us about what music our particular group might enjoy, wanted our opinion on volume level, etc. Sal set us up with our own “PA” system that we could use and that was really needed.
The music was wonderful, but even more so was the band’s friendly interaction our group. And acknowledging several our son’s birthday several times. They did everything to make the party a very enjoyable experience.

We booked Shine for our wedding reception! They were so organized and took care of everything, leaving me with very little to do for them! They constantly had our guests on the dance floor and by the second half of the reception the whole dance floor was full of our guests. We couldn't have been happier with them and I would certainly recommend them!

Wow! Shine was freaking AWESOME! Ever since the big day, our family and friends keep telling us how our wedding reception was one of the best parties they had ever been to and Shine, in my opinion, had a large part to do with it. Shine's talent was exceptional which kept everyone on the dance floor. Mindy's take charge demeanor with the mic helped the night flow seamlessly; she helped choreograph the perfect night!! We had family and friends share the stage and perform with Shine and it all seemed rehearsed even though it wasn't. From the attention to detail you receive planning leading up to your special day to the rocking fun time at the event, Shine is FANTASTIC!!

Shine played our wedding reception at the Carolina Inn and they were AWESOME!! They kept the party going and had everyone on the dance floor! Providing five stars is nowhere near enough - they were worth 10 stars. Throughout the planning process the band members were attentive to our daughter and son-in-laws desires and by far exceeded my (father of the bride) expectations. Mindy has a wonderful voice and the band kept the dance floor full the entire night. Mindy also kept things moving along as the MC and made sure that everything took place on schedule and all guests involved. I could not have asked for a better experience. The price they charge is well below the service received.

Shine is the ONLY wedding band you should use. They are amazing. This was the single best decision we made for our wedding. Even family members who normally never dance, got on the dance floor because of Shine. They worked with us every step of the way and made our wedding day flow seamlessly. Shine performed at our Wedding on the front lawn of the Carolina Inn. We received many compliments from guests on how much fun the band was. We appreciate how flexible they were in working with our schedule and requests. I've read many of the other positive comments before booking that described how great they are. Now that the event if over, I can say they're all spot on. Shine (especially Mindy) is great at getting the crowd up and moving. We wanted throw our guests a great party, and Shine was a core part of that success!

We hired Shine for our wedding and they were AMAZING. If you want a dance floor that is ALWAYS full, they are the way to go. Aaron and Mindy worked with us closely to put together an amazing event. They were so much fun to work with, and spent a ton of time talking to us to figure out exactly what we wanted. By the wedding, it was so perfectly planned out that we had nothing to worry about. We got so many compliments on the band. And literally, after dinner, the dancing did not stop until the last song was played. Also, Shine plays for an amazing value. You will be happy if you go with Shine!

My wife and I were so pleased with Shine's performance at our wedding reception in late May, 2015. All of the band members were professional, engaging and invested in making sure everyone had a great time. They kept people on the dance floor from start to finish while keeping things on schedule throughout the event. Their song selection was excellent and they were an affordable option given their level of talent and overall performance! Hiring Shine was one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding reception. They were so easy and wonderful to work with and they went above and beyond to make sure the music at our wedding was exactly what we wanted. Shine was fantastic - they engaged with our group, they were easy to work with, their song selection was perfect and our company Christmas Party was a HIT! Everything about Shine was great! From the details involved in planning the reception to the execution of the reception, everything was perfect. All the wedding guests kept asking where we found them! Mindy is great at making sure she knows all the details and exactly what you want at your reception. Aaron was a great person to chat with in the beginning in regards to giving advice to make an awesome reception. Mike (guitarist) played at the ceremony and again, did an outstanding job. I got tons of complements about everything Shine did! Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to have a great time!!!!
