We were very happy with Sojourn Rock's performance at our wedding reception!Tony was extremely friendly and prompt in responding to emails, and the band learned several new songs at our request.SR's music appealed to a range of ages (although we did not request much top 40). One thing to note is that you're required to provide a stage, which added several hundred dollars to our tent rental fee--this was a reasonable request they mentioned up front, but just something to know ahead of time.Overall, SRs provided a fun performance and were easy to work with. I'd highly recommend working with SR as a good and reasonably priced band in the Central Illinois area.

Sojourn Rocs was a perfect band for our event. Their selection of music hit all the marks. If you are looking for a band that plays ALL the "just released" this band is not for you. If you LOVE all the rest, then this band is for you! Our crowd loved the music and danced, danced, danced!!!

Their choice of music was dead on for our group and the male vocals were fantastic (we weren't as impressed with the female vocalist but it was her very first time performing with them and she didn't seem to be familiar with a lot of the music. No doubt she'll get better with more performances under her belt). I would hire them again.

I am highly disappointed in this band. As a bride, they treated me fine besides starting our first dance song without us on the dance floor and didn’t stop when my dad told them to since we weren’t out there. They also were rude to my dad throughout the night and rude to the venue owner when asked to turn their volume down which they didn’t do. Our first dance song they played awfully once we finally did get on the dance floor. The rest of the night was fine music wise but if I could change one thing about our wedding it would’ve been booking a different band. Originally the band was nice but they did not follow through once at the venue. I would not hire again.

This gig was 7 months ago. I vaguely recall the interactions with the clients. I was not aware of any negative perceptions from the family. The bride was in the room when their song was started, but she left the room and made adjustments to her dress then returned to the dance floor. We started her song over at that point.
The barn owner asked us to turn down a couple of times. We tried to satisfy her, but she would not be satisfied with the volume. Rock has a certain level one has to play in order to be effective. We have entertained hundreds of wedding clients and corporate clients and this is the first such response of this kind.

Sojourn Rocs made my 50th Birthday Bash an evening for the record books! They were talented, energetic, kind, fun, sensitive to the vibe of the group, etc, etc. What more could you ask for? Such a tight band and so much fun!

I hired Sojourn Rocs for my mom's celebration of life. They were amazing! From the time I booked, everything went smoothly... communication, my requests, and timeliness. Their music was also great! They played exactly the type of music we were hoping for and the crowd loved them. They even let my dad come up and use their guitar and sing a song to pay tribute to my mom. It was beautiful. I would highly recommend this band for any occasion. They are professional, courteous, and great musicians.
