Mr. Baker is the best! He is professional and extremely talented. His performance at our event was excellent. He entertained our guests with an elegant intimate jazz session that only a true artist could provide. Edmond’s cd is good, a pure composition of great tracks. He definitely has a signature sound. Days after our party, my husband came home and said “who is that playing on the stereo? I like that”. I said, “It is Edmond Baker, the saxophonist from the party.” I highly recommend Mr. Baker for any event…you will not be disappointed.

Edmond Baker was awesome! My event was scheduled in a very short time period. He was able to accommodate us with a few days notice and work with his busy schedule. He played a variety of music and even took some requests from the audience. Overall, his performance was excellent. Please book this gentleman and buy his cd. You will not regret it. Edmond was awesome. He sounded great and he went above and beyond helping at our ceremony and reception with the other musicians and some sound difficulties we were having. Everyone loved his music and all I could say is good things about him. He has a great attitude and is so likable I would definately recommend him and hire him again if I had an occasion. This was my first year planning our company Christmas Party and with all the chaos going on through out the evening Ed was able to come in and set up with little direction. He started right up with some mellow tunes and as the night went on he moved into more up beat music. Throughout dinner he played some traditional Christmas music and it was very easy to enjoy the music and still have a conversation with members of the table. I received many compliments of his beautiful playing. It was a great pleasure to work with Ed and he help make the night a grand success! I would definitely recommend him to anyone who need musical entertainment for an event!

Ed's presence and music made all the difference for our surprise birthday party. It made for an easy, comfortable atmosphere to socialize in and set the tone that this party was indeed special. Mr. Edmond was a wonderful addition to our family gathering. He kept professional bondries not to interfer with our family time yet he mingled with everyone and fit right in. His music had a great varity and his focus on our request was important to him as he made sure they were all played. He was very punctual and dressed well for the occasion. I booked this event through Gigmasters on 12/28/2012 with a deposit for an event for 80-100 people on 5/9/13. I spoke with Edmond on the phone before scheduling this and I let him know that I am a planner and the date was solid. One week prior to the event, he called me to ask if I still needed him to perform because he had gotten another offer to play the same night. I let him know that indeed, I had not changed any plans, and I expected him there. I gave him my address and directions. At 10 AM on the morning of the event, I received an email, not a call, that he had to cancel due to a personal family situation. In my opinion, this is classified as a no show.

I've been playing professionally since 2002, been a member of Gigmasters since 2006, the TOP SAXOPHONIST since 2009 & if you read all the other reviews you will see that this doesn't line up with my track record. I really felt bad that I had to cancel at the last minute but I explained in detail what had happened (whether she believed me or not) I apologized several times & even made an attempt to get another professional musician to cover for me but was unsuccessful. The deposit is being refunded & again I apologize, but this was the 1ST TIME IN 11YRS I canceled an event instead of the client canceling & I'm truly sorry Dr. Liu. a.k.a. "Uptown Saxman"

Edmond didnt actually play our event. He sent Saxman Gregory Daniels in his place as he had another evnt that night. He was fantastic!! My guests loved him! He played beautifully, was very fun and professional. Highly recommended
