Michael Girdy Sr is very talented! Mr. Girdy arrived early and did an excellent job and made my wife's birthday very memorable. We recorded his performance and still listen to it everyday. I recommend Mr. Girdy to anyone looking for undeniable talent that's very easy to work with. I definitely will be booking Mr. Girdy again for future events!

Michael arrived early and has a very pleasant demeanor. He has great energy and was happy to help make our event a special one. He succeeded in making the wedding special. Excellent musician and very professional. Mr. Girdy did an excellent job playing at my husband's birthday party on a 3 hr. cruise on the Chesapeake Bay out of Annapolis, MD. On his own initiative he drove to Annapolis 2 days before the event to go aboard the boat so he see its layout and where he would be playing. This was gesture was impressive. My guest enjoyed his music and reported many compliments on "that saxophone player who was so good." My communication leading up to booking Mr. Girdy was excellent. He was responsive by phone, email and text. I most definitely would book him for any of our future events.

Mike was a real pleasure to work with. We stayed in touch through email and he was very accommodating to my small requests for setup. Micheal did a fabulous job at my baby shower. He was responsive when I had to change venues. He was there early to set up which he did so swiftly I barely even noticed. His song selection was perfect - I didn’t have to suggest a thing. He played straight through only stopping for a drink & to eat once - however he kept music playing during those small breaks. He interacted with my guest. Everyone wanted to know where I found him. He had true showmanship but still kept a balance not making himself center of attention. If you are looking for live music at your event/proposal/dinner - do not hesitate you have found your guy!

My family was tremendously blessed by Michael Girby’s dynamite talent. He arrived an hour early and was set up before everyone arrived to the funeral. Michael played for an hour straight without any breaks. He set a peaceful atmosphere for the entire family & friends who attended my Great Uncle Percy Lewis Thompson funeral. Mike came to help my wife and I celebrate our 1st anniversary and he made the moment extremely special. Mike was AMAZING! I booked him for my partners Bearthday. We did and outside happy hour/picnic. It was cold and windy that night and Mike warmed us with his smooth sounds and his assistance with lighting the fire pit. The music was perfect, he made sure to do a great mix of the songs requested. Mike was ahead of time, prepared, helpful, and gave us words of encouragement for our future. I would definitely recommend Mike, and I will definitely be booking with him again. I was so excited that the evening turned out well. The live music was the cherry on top. My partner felt like we brought the jazz club to him and fully enjoyed the Bearthday serenade!
