Who inspired you to start your business as a Comedian? When I was about 10 years old, I used to watch the Dean Martin roasts on TV. They were making fun of each other and just enjoying it immensely. I thought that there must be no better feeling then making people laugh. Turns out-I was right!! For 5 years I was carrying around a flyer in my briefcase for a stand up comedy class. Finally at age 40 ,I got my courage up enough to take the class in New York/ Long Island. Once I finally did it. I was hooked!
What makes you different than other Comedians? I try to cater my material to the crowd. I am very sensitive about what may or may not be appropriate at a given venue. I like to find out as much about the crowd as possible so I can find some common ground. I work clean. No cursing or mean spirited jokes. I tell true stories about my parents, wife and kids from my perspective. I try to connect on a personal level and share my life with the audience.
