We are so grateful to Melanie Dekker for joining us at our Street BBQ. Her music touched the hearts of the women we serve, creating an atmosphere of comfort and celebration. It was inspiring to see the women smiling, singing along, and feeling valued through her gift of song.

I hesitated at first to reply this Gig idea; as I like the event leader's goals to match my musical style and I wasn't 100% sure; as this seemed tricker due to it being outdoors, not for profit, and in a “rougher” part of town. But I'm so glad we participated! By choosing feel good mid tempo songs, we did all seem to get a little bit of “wiggle on.” May the smiles we all had, lift spirits and encourage stronger heartfelt connections!

Melanie was fantastic. She performed for our son’s wedding ceremony and Welcome Dinner cocktail party. We made a special request for ceremony and she learned a new song and did it beautifully. We were privileged to have her husband guitarist Allan Rodger join her. We had several compliments from our guests as well. She is talented, very personable, and was great with communication to plan for our event. We would highly recommend Melanie and would absolutely have her again for another event. Melanie collaborated with two other musicians to deliver the perfect music for anniversary party with style, grace and most of all talent. We loved her engaging style; her vocals, delivery and energy were spot on. She perfectly crafted the set based on only a few hints from us, and delivered them with a warmth and flair that made for a night we will never forget.
