I booked Mike to play at our beach wedding & cocktail hour, 675 characters are not enough to describe how awesome he is as a musician & person! I challenged him w/ a song I wanted to walk down to. I asked him to acoustically play & arrange a M83 (indie, electronica band) song along w/a violinist. He exceeded the challenge, it brought tears to my eyes as I walked down the aisle. His voice is captivating & attracts your guests attention. We had so many compliments on his music! Mike is super easy going & just a very nice guy. He always communicated promptly & available for questions. I can't say enough about Mike & I would definitely hire him again! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We booked Mike to play for our wedding ceremony on April 22 and he was absolutely amazing!!! Everyone only had the best things to say about him! I annoyed him for about 5 months with emails and random questions, and he was so gracious to respond so fast and answered all of our questions! He made the process so easy, and we felt so confident with everything! We will definitely recommend him to friends and family!! Thank you Mike again for adding to our wonderful wedding day memories!

Mike was the highlight of our event. I started looking for a musician very last minute for our wedding event. We were having a big cocktail party for many of our out of town guests, and wanted to add some live music to our outdoor event. Enter Mike Wilson. I cannot even begin to count how many times I was approached that evening asking about Mike, where we found him, and raves about how talented he was. People were gathered around him for most of the event, unable to take their eyes off of him. Mike was extremely accommodating and worked with me ahead of time to come up with a list of musicians and songs that we loved. His voice is absolutely incredible!

Mike was initially unavailable on my event date, which I was quite sad about, but when a last-minute cancellation cleared his schedule, I was so excited to book him because I knew he would create the perfect atmosphere. I was hosting a graduation party for my brother, whose crowd consists of hip 20-somethings, 30-somethings with kids, and a small group of older family members. Mike was able to appeal to all ages with his repertoire! He has a cool, bluesy, indie folk vibe that he brings to each song, especially the more popular pop/pop rock songs. One of my aunts who doesn't know much English said to my relatives, "Shhh...enjoy the music...he has a nice voice."

My wife and I first heard Mike play at a restaurant in Costa Mesa a few months before our wedding. After hearing a couple songs, we both commented on how great he sounded and how it would be cool if he played at our wedding. We ended up taking his card and calling him a few weeks later - what a nice guy! He is very professional, accommodating and incredibly talented. He drove 2 hours out into the middle of the desert to play a couple songs for our ceremony and during cocktail hour. My Husband and I originally hired Mike as a guitarist for our reception. Months later we learned that our guitarist for our ceremony was not able to make it. Mike happily took on our entire wedding for a great price. Mike has been accommodating, kind, extremely friendly, and he's incredibly talented. Mike is Awesome! I hired Mike for an engagement proposal for the December Nights 15' at Balboa Parks in San Diego. He was very accommodating, flexible and he executed it perfectly. His voice is unique and very talented. I wanted a unique proposal that resembled Jimmy Fallon/The Roots band playing classroom instruments. Mike worked with us until I thought it was perfect. He even sent a demo video to show us how to play the instruments. Mike even brought his family to help out. I included some friends that made up the band and he sang Bruno Mars' Marry You song. I really can't thank Mike enough! I would definitely book Mike again and recommend him to anyone.

I booked Mike for a proposal in San Diego's Balboa Park. He answered all my questions and was more than happy to learn new songs for the proposal. My husband and I had Mike play at our wedding on 7/30/16 for the ceremony and cocktail hour and he was AMAZING!! The months prior to the wedding he was in constant contact with me to answer any questions I had and made me feel comfortable and at ease. He learned multiple songs that I wanted played during my ceremony. He took the songs and made them into his own and couldn't have sounded better! Our family and friends are STILL talking about how good Mike was and how special it made our ceremony feel. Oh my. There's a reason Mike is at the top of gigmasters - he's the best! Mike arrived 90 minutes early to set up, which is so comforting for a time sensitive event. He has incredible energy - and it shines through his music. We absolutely loved his version of the songs we chose, and he even made sure to set time aside to prepare and practice for our requested song "Into the Mystic." Truly magical.
