THE BRASS BROTHERS are able to accommodate a wide variety of venues and budgets. I'm dedicated to finding the right fit for you. Our experience ranges from Studio work to Mardi Gras to Television shows to Blues festivals to corporate events to weddings of the rich and famous (and not-so-rich and famous) to Charity work to just having a good time entertaining. THE BAND IS NOT A STATIC CONFIGURATION. I pull together talent and adapt to your event's needs. Dexter Thomas Sr, Horns & Vocals / “Big” Michael Richardson Sr, Horns & Vocals Dexter and “Big” Mike hold down the brass section, from trumpet to flugelhorn to trombone to anything else we can drag up on stage. We’ve played with Larry Kimpel of Frankie Beverly & Maze, opened for The Spinners, appeared on television as a house band for David Tutera's Celebrations, and were even featured in a Converse shoe commercial (yes, they let us keep the shoes). We’ve played at the legendary Clifton’s in Los Angeles, at the Los Angeles Mardi Gras Festival, the Solvang Jazz Festival, PGA West, Tommy Bahama’s, Agua Caliente, and more.
