I had Kohl and Southern Frey at our RV Park in Loveland, CO for the third time this season, last night 8/07/2021 and they delivered. This was a last minute show when we had a band cancel. I receive more complements from our guests about Southern Frey than I do most other bands. I had a feeling the first time I talked to Kohl and booked them for Memorial Day weekend that they would be a favorite and they have proven that they are. Their song choices are great, the musicianship is awesome. We will be having them back one more time this summer for our Labor Day end of season party and I cant wait. Southern Frey will be my first call when I start booking my 2022 Season.

Our event underwent some major changes, but Kohl (the band manager) was so accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Plus the music was great. We’d definitely use them again!

This is the best band I have heard in a long while. They were professional, on time, and their sound is phenomenal. There were 200+ people at the event and everyone talked about how well they enjoyed the music. I highly recommend Dear Jon and the Whale Riders to anyone who loves great music!

Great band very talented! They set the tone for our event. Very accommodating. We had some bad weather and moved the event inside, the band played on the mezzanine and managed the volume perfectly. This band was the best!! Sound perfection and set list kept our guests happy with songs they knew and loved. Very professional set up with talented musicians and vocals. On time for set up and take down. Highly recommend for any venue big or small.

Set list is short and not great for a party at all. They were very eager to play this event and assured us they could handle it but they bombed. They take twice the breaks that were contracted and at one point were rude with guests. Most people danced and had more fun during their intermissions which they played satellite radio with commercials... I plan lots of these events and am getting complaints everyday since this one I am very disappointed.

Well…., someone was incredibly unprofessional! And I can promise you, it wasn’t us!
The number of characters allowed by Bash's response app is very limited so I'll just say, NONE of what this review says is true! From the amount of break time, to not having enough songs, to the commercials during our set break music. NONE OF THIS IS TRUE!! My band mates and I have been playing gigs for over 30 years. We know how to be professional and wouldn’t have earned a living this long otherwise.
I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND any other band stay as far away from this place as possible! It’ll be the worst gig experience you’ve ever had, like it was for us!

They were prompt and professional on the phone and in person. They added to our event and made it that much better. We were at an outside venue (tailgate) and they kept the volume reasonable so as not to disturb other groups around us as per our request. They played a good assortment of songs that was perfect for our group. I would hire again.
