Pat Cannon was prompt, professional, kind, and I was so impressed with how well she could manage a group of over 200 people who had never square danced before. She had many fun and different dances for all to enjoy. The families have requested the activity and Pat again for next year.

We couldn't have asked for a better square dance caller than Suzi Myers Tipa. She has a vibrant personality and she makes people feel at home immediately. She is a great teacher - clear, patient, and easy to understand. She had people on the floor and dancing right away. She was great and we would definitely have her again. Dealing with Pat Cannon was excellent. Pat contacted us when we made the booking and two week before the event - there was no need to reach out to her. I also spoke with Suzi before the event and she gave me a security that all would go well and she was right!

Pat Cannon was incredible! We opened our wedding weekend with a square dance, and we could not have asked for a better caller. Some of our guests had experience with square dancing, but most were first timers. By the end of the evening, Pat had dozens our friends smiling, laughing, skipping, and do-si-doing all across the field! And she made sure that we, the soon-to-be-wed couple, felt completely surrounded by the love of our family and friends (think multiple call-outs and giant group hugs). Everyone had an amazing time, and we lost count of how many guests later commented on how much they loved Pat! She truly got the weekend off to the right start.

The wedding group was huge and the space wasn't, so Pat did the best she could in that space. The guests were mostly unfamiliar with square dancing since they were from many different cultures. So Pat did a fine job of just getting us into a BIG circle and having us do some dos y dos and promenading. She didn't have the luxury of really setting us up in squares. The important thing was that people had fun and were introduced to something very American. They had a good time and Pat did a fine job.

Pat Cannon doesn't attend an event, she makes the event. Pat has a honed her experience to read a crowd, draw them in and give em a great great time. She drove the 6-pc band like it was her own instrument. She kept it moving except when we all needed to eat and drink more. She was funny, instructive and so sweet with the few children that accompanied their parents- so patient and sweet , yet kept her pace seamless. I highly recommend her services with confidence.
