Kent arrived on time, set up, and had a wonderful sound that set the island mood right from the start! After cocktails, he reset up for the dinner hour and dancing portion in another room and was truly well-modulated and accommodating in every way. He let us use his mike and put into his computer a cd we wanted for a special song! He was more than pleasant in every way and everyone loved his music and him too!

Awesome! Excellent communication prior to our event(luau party). Accommodated last-minute changes in performance time, length of performance,and the addition of a hula demonstration. Kent played for our daughter's wedding reception. She had been married on a beach out of state, and had a reception later at home. We wanted to carry that "beachy" feel back to Michigan. The steel drums were a great backdrop for that, and many of the guests were intrigued, wanting to watch him play and asking where we found a steel drum musician! During one of his breaks, he dj'd some songs that the kids really enjoyed, so he kept those songs going to keep the kids interested. Good intuitive move. My 4 1/2 stars were because, as much fun as the steel drums were, few of the songs were recognizable, at least to me. Everything else was great.

Kent was a real trooper performing through a little micro-burst rainstorm, but was willing to quit a little early when the 2nd round of micro-rain arrived. He had a good sound system and produced a great sound for a one man band.

Kent was fantastic!!!! His music made the party. We had a luau theme party for a triple graduation party in a big tent. There was a huge rainstorm, after months without any rain, and it luckily ended just before the party started. We set Kent up in the corner next to the tiki bar and when he started playing it was the beginning of a perfect night! We gave a similar luau party 4 years prior for graduations and wanted to up the game on this one. Kent was the game changer. We got huge compliments on this party everyone loved Kent's music it was like a night on the beach, we actually had a photo booth setup with real sand. Highly recommended, HIRE HIM!!!!

Kent is amazing! We were so lucky to have him celebrate the 4th on Lake Michigan with an extraordinary sunset. Absolutely perfect. Definitely a guest favorite. Nothing like burgers fresh off the grill, a frozen drink of choice, all on the lake with the sounds of steel drums. Thanks Kent!

He was great and everyone enjoyed his music. It was nice to have some warm tropical sounds at an event that took place when the outside temperature was 18 degrees with out the wind chill. I would definitely hire him again and would also highly recommend him to anyone looking for a steel drum band!!!
