Steel Happiness (Mike Cook) performed at our town's 70th Birthday Party. The large group of attendees were of a mixed age group. Mike's steel drum and choice of music were enjoyed by all age groups with many commenting how pleasant and enjoyable the music was. We would definitely have him play at a future event.

This was our second time booking Mike, and he was an even bigger hit than before! He provides exactly what he advertises -- an ambient escape to a tropical climate. One of my favorite things about Mike is that he takes the extra step of providing his story and the history and science behind the steel drum. This is what makes him a great choice for people looking to entertain a wide age range -- children and grown folks. We will definitely be booking Mike again.

Mike did another amazing job at our Tiki Bar party. This was our last Tiki Bar for the summer and his music was the perfect way to close out our Tiki Bar season. He always confirms before the event, arrives early, and is very personable with the residents who attend the party. Thanks Mike for another great Tiki Bar season! (Sorry for the late review! Cannot say enough nice things about Mike and his act, Steel Happiness! Mike arrived promptly and was a total professional. The forecast wasn't looking great, but Mike was super responsive to my concerns! We ended up holding out through the rain, and the crowd that showed up were extremely grateful because of how much joy Mike's performance brought them. Mike does a great job of balancing a strong variety of music with small anecdotes and tidbits about steel drums and his journey playing them. If you're looking for a casual and tropical vibe, you couldn't do much better than Steel Happiness! Highly recommended, especially for outdoor atmosphere and entertainment.

Steel Happiness (Mike) was a hit with our Happy Hour guests. He arrived early, and started our Welcome to Summer event off right! His music selection was appropriate and he connected instantly with the guests. We even had a brief rain shower. He simply moved under the pavilion and continued his show. We were extremely pleased with Mike and would hire him again and highly recommend him for anyone looking for a smooth Caribbean vibe!
