The X Isles were extremely professional. They played through the requested time period and not only entertained the audience but educated them on their instruments and the history of the music. The X Isles are a very talented duo, it was a great show and the audience really enjoyed it.

The band was excellent. They showed up early and played throught the afternoon. All of my guests were raving about the music they played. Their sound was incredible and made the guests feel like they were in a tropical paradise. Thank you Howard Szklut

We couldn't have asked for a better band for my father's retirement party!!!! Every guest commented on how great the XIsles were. They went above and beyond by tolerating some pretty bad weather- having to unload equipmtment in torrential rains as well as staying for an extra hour as we were having so much fun dancing we could not part with them!

These guys are fabulous! Their island music sound really creates a great party atmosphere. X Isles was very professional and sounded wonderful. All our party guests commented on how good they are. They are also very accommodating and basically just a couple of really nice guys.

We chose the X Isles for a couples shower at a Rhode Island beach location and they were wonderful. The event would have been quite boring without them. I am very grateful to the X Isles for all they did to make my event a lot of fun and stress free. I highly recommend them without reservation.

These guys are great and definately added some WOW factor ot our beach B-Day party. They play great music and are very talented! PLus nice guys! My only complaint was since the deck (band was setup) was a little ways from the beach the music was a little too soft and it was difficult to hear. WOuld hire them again and again!

Rick and John have lots of experience playing Cape Cod venues and their song repertoire and interactions showed it. They arrived with a playlist which allowed people to make requests. Their blend of pop, reggae and island tunes was perfect for our event. They arrived ahead of time to make sure they set up in time for the event and played as agreed. Their five YouTube videos allowed us to promote their music before the event and build excitement. I would recommend them for situations where a talented musical duo can enliven an event.

Used the xIsles for a corporate themed cocktail reception. They were great! They showed up early for set up, and were very professional. Very fun and sounded great..even in a room with not very good acoustics. Will definitely use them again and would recommend for any party..

Their performance was great for background music on our beach event but, didn't pick up the tempo enough for dancing afterward... hence, we would recommend them for more of a background band than dance band.

Thank you for the feedback. The difference between an adequate performance and a good one is being able to connect with the audience. The stage area was nice but it was located on a sand dune away from the party. Our sound system is 1,000 watts per side but with the onshore cross breeze the sound didn’t carry very well. Next year you might consider hiring a sound company, they can also help you determine the proper power requirements. Most of our music would be considered danceable but we understand that Caribbean style music; Calypso, reggae and “tropical rock” doesn’t appeal to everyone. All that aside - you all threw an awesome beach party! Hope this is helpful.
