Wedding CeremonyReviewed on August 2, 2009From New York City, NY

Dolce Vita is a wonderful string quartet!!! As a musician myself I had very high expectations for music at my wedding. Dolce Vita prepared special music that I requested and were professional, musical, and eager to make my wedding the best it could be. I would highly recommend this group to anyone looking for a string quartet.

Birthday Party (Adult)Reviewed on October 3, 2010From Peapack, NJ

We were thrilled with Dolce Vita String's performance at my father's birthday party. Everyone commented how wonderful they were. They played a wide range of music that made young and old very happy and took into consideration the requests that I had made. It lent a very sophisticated atmosphere to the party. Dolce Vita was early to come to the party and get settled. They were playing when the first guests arrived. The whole interaction was very professional and smooth, from the first email contact to the end of the evening. Thanks very much!!

ConcertReviewed on December 4, 2011From Huntington, WV

For anyone looking to hire string players, I would highly recommend Dolce Vita Strings. We hired 3 of their players for a community concert in West Virginia and were thrilled with them. Their musicality and skill is top-notch. These are confident and accomplished musicians. In addition, the group was very accommodating and professional every step of the way. You can book this group with confidence knowing that you'll get great value and top-notch quality from these performers!

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on December 16, 2012From Catskill, NY

Nadiia and Dolce Vita Strings are superb - both in terms of their musical talent and their personal warmth. They worked very closely with us as we prepared for the wedding. They were immediately responsive to our requests throughout the whole process. While they have a wide classical repertoire, they showed their flexibility and openness by preparing an old Irish air (not in their original repertoire) and playing it with extraordinary sensitivity during the ceremony. The bride and groom and indeed all of us who attended the wedding were deeply moved by the quality of the music played by Dolce Vita Strings. With deep appreciation and gratitude.

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on March 11, 2012From New York City, NY

Dolce Vita strings played as a violin/cello duo for our ceremony and cocktail hour at the Carlyle Hotel. They were on time, professional, skilled and they brought tears of joy to my fiance as she walked down the aisle to Massenet's Meditation from Thais. Highly recommended.

Dolce Vita Strings is absolutely amazing. They couldn't have been more flexible and accommodating, and were willing to play exactly what we wanted for our ceremony. Our guests were raving about how beautiful the music was. I highly recommend using Dolce Vita Strings for your upcoming events!

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on August 20, 2011From Belleville, NJ

The performers were outrageous. I asked them to learn two songs that I wanted, one of which was quite obscure and the other was a pop song. They performed them with absolute brilliance. They all were very professional and responded to all my questions with promptness, and I badgered them with a lot of questions. If you want top talent for the best price, Dolce Vita Strings is the way to go. Absolutely amazing.

ChristeningReviewed on June 26, 2011From Roseland, NJ

Violinist Stanislav and pianist Elena from Dolce Vita played a classical program for ten adults at a brunch at my home after a Christening. They included requests I submitted beforehand. Their playing was of the highest professional quality; and they chatted easily and amicably with my guests. The music was a surprise to my guests and was enjoyed by all. They were on time, looked sharp, and played with enthusiasm. I will use them again.

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on October 31, 2011From Holmdel, NJ

This was the best experience I have ever had hiring any vendor. Not only are they extremely talented they are so easy to work with and accommodating. I only wish I had an event every week so I could hire these girls and listen to them play. Amazingly talented and a pleasure to work with - you don't get any better than that. If you are looking for a great sound and pure elegance, this is the group you want. They are a cut above everyone else. Thank you Dolce Vita Strings for making my daughter's wedding something special.

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on October 30, 2010From Brooklyn, NY

Beautiful musicians, wonderful people, perfect experience from planning through execution! My wife trusted me with the musical arrangements for our wedding. As a layman, my first vision for the ceremonial music, an obscure symphonic piece, turned out to be unpublished and unsuited for a trio; it didn't matter, because Nadia's great ear and expert suggestions landed us with a perfect set that had the same (even better!) sound and feeling. At the ceremony itself Dolce Vita were the picture of elegant, talented, and sublime musicians. Unmatched professionalism, talent, and service! Thank you so much for holding my hand at the beginning and seeing it through perfectly!

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on October 24, 2010From New York City, NY

We booked Dolce Vita Strings for our wedding ceremony and a cocktail hour that followed, and they did a great job. The music sounded beautiful, and they were very accommodating with the songs that we wanted. They were also very pleasant to deal with and got everything set up around our program without any hassle. I would highly recommend them for any event, particularly a small wedding such as ours.

Dolce Vita Strings did a beautiful job at my wedding. They accommodated my request for a special song for the bride's procession, and played beautifully during both the ceremony and the cocktail hour. They were easy to work with, provided helpful suggestions, and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Corporate FunctionReviewed on May 31, 2010From Philadelphia, PA

We had book “Dolce Vita” for a very exclusive Grand Opening event (formal dinner music) with a top-level audience. The audience was very exited about the performance and the group had prepared an ideal program for the occasion. Even people, who usual do not listen to classical music, enjoyed the performance. Dolce Vita is for sure not the cheapest group but if quality and presentation are important, they are worth the money. We would do business with them again any time again.

WeddingReviewed on July 25, 2015From Morris, CT

Dolce Vita Strings Music Boutique, led by the versatile, ethereal and knowledgeable Nadiia Khodakovska, provided for my daughter's wedding a string quartet, in flowing cream gowns (the sole male in black-tie), fulfilling all our requirements and working closely with venue staff. Pre-ceremony: 17th-19th century chamber music, appropriate adaptations of processional music, and a lovely performance of my daughter's wish for a musician to lead guests single-file to the ceremony. For cocktail hour, the switch was to early-mid 20th-century jazz and nightclub classics. Importantly, at my direction, DVSMB avoided old chestnuts and cliched choices. Highly recommend.
