We requested them to move closer to the audience so they could better hear them but they declined due to no shade being there. Also they started 10 minutes before the ceremony and people had already been arriving 15-20 minutes before the ceremony. Overall, I could not hear them and I'm sure the audience did not notice them or hear them. I am very dissatisfied. I would not recommend them.

Unfortunately we were not able to move the musician's instruments into the direct sunlight as it was already a heat advisory day with temperatures over 90 degrees and high humidity. As the signed contract indicated under Conditions of Service: "Outdoor Performance: Musicians reserve the right to move to said location at their discretion due to rain or unsuitable weather conditions". I am sorry you were dissatisfied with our services - we do our best to work with each client and remain flexible as events usually do not go exactly as planned. We did hear from a number of guests afterwards that they thoroughly enjoyed the music.

Parkwest Strings (quartet) performed for my wedding ceremony. At first, I was slightly apprehensive because I'd never heard them play and didn't know them personally (though others' reviews of them were glowing). My apprehensions were alleviated as soon as I made contact with Songhea, who was completely professional and quick to respond to my questions. I couldn't ask for a better experience- they learned several new songs at my request and played them perfectly. These guys are pros- I'd recommend to everyone!

They were very professional and excellent. They delivered what they promised and offered. All of our guests were impressed by their performance. If you want a great classy string quartet on your wedding, you should hire this group.

We were VERY happy with Parkwest Strings! The performance was lovely, and they were professional and easy to work with. Songhea was very patient with us and quite willing to accommodate our requests, and did so in a timely manner. I was very impressed with every aspect and hope I have an occasion to hire them again. Songhea from Parkwest Strings was wonderful to work with. She was very accommodating to song changes and was willing to learn new songs for my ceremony. This ensemble was pure talent, rhapsodizing our favorite songs into recognizable but elevated melodies and harmonies that kept our toes tapping and our hearts singing. They also played pure classical music in such elegant fashion! Our guests have been raving since our fête about the music, and I can only give them as many stars as provided. I'd give them much more! They were loud enough to be heard and enjoyed, but they did not play so loud as to overwhelm the possibility of conversation. All of our special requests were handled with aplomb. An ovation-worthy performance to say the very least! Hire them! They will not disappoint.

We were delighted with Parkwest Strings for our wedding! We booked a string trio to perform during our ceremony and cocktail hour. The trio performed traditional/classical music for our ceremony and contemporary/pop music for our cocktail hour. Our guests really enjoyed the music and we received many compliments on how enjoyable their performance was. They were able to perfectly fulfill a special request and were a pleasure to work with. Throughout the booking process Songhea from Parkwest Strings was extremely easy to work with and easily accommodated all of our song requests. The musicians were extremely talented and handled a delay caused by transportation issues without a problem, filling the time with their deep catalogue of songs. I would highly recommend Parkwest Strings for a wedding--or any event for that matter.

Parkwest Strings played at my daughter's wedding this past weekend. They were wonderful. Guests later told me that they really enjoyed them before the ceremony (I was not in the room until the ceremony began). The music during cocktail hour was wonderful! Songhea was easy to work with, following the type of music that I listed on the prep sheet. Very talented and professional group. I highly recommend them!

We hired Parkwest Strings violin and cello duet for our wedding ceremony and they did a phenomenal job. They played all the songs we requested and picked some other beautiful pieces to play when we did not pick enough for a section. The only complaint is that although my now husband and I we're busy getting ready, the musicians did not greet us or say anything to us the whole time we were there. Their musicianship was fantastic, could work on professionalism just a tad. Overall wonderful performance.
