My husband and I hired St. Charles String Quartet for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. We were so happy with our choice! Leading up to the day, they were incredibly accommodating to our change in wedding venue and all music requests. They have a wonderful repertoire, with a mix of old and new music. Their music created a great atmosphere for the ceremony and cocktail hour, and we had so many guests commenting on the wonderful music. We would definitely recommend them!

St. Charles String Quartet played during our George Washington Birthday Celebration on February 22, 2013 and they did an amazing job! They are very talented and true professionals. We've received many compliments from the attendees of the event and I will highly recommend them.

My husband and I hired St. Charles Strings to play at our wedding ceremony at the Carnegie Institution for Science on March 9th. We have absolutely nothing but the best things to say about their performance and the overall experience of working with the group. We had a trio play before our ceremony and for the first part of cocktail hour; they were fantastic about playing our requests and generally picking music that lined up with our taste. Neil, the main point of contact for the group, was a treat to work with and made himself extremely accessible throughout the planning process.

The St. Charles Strong Quartet was amazing at my wedding at Mt. Vernon. The guests couldn't stop commenting on how wonderful they were and what a unique experience it was to listen to a string quartet.
It was actually raining at my ceremony (which was outside under a tent) and they were extremely accommodating and played wonderfully. I play the violin myself and know that weather like that can make instruments go out of tune quickly, but it didn't seem to affect them at all.
I also had a unique request for my first dance and they instantly said it wouldn't be a problem and ended up playing it perfectly!
I definitely would recommend them to anyone!

The St Charles String Quartet added the perfect touch to our daughters wedding. They were professional, timely and extremely talented. We received many compliments from the wedding attendees. Assuming you're getting married, and assuming you'd like that wedding to be a classy affair, but also a lot of fun for your guests, you can't go wrong with these guys.
I gave them 5 starts across the board for their professionalism and ability, so suffice to say you won't be dissapointed in the slightest with any of that, or anything they perform.
So here's the bottom line: if you're looking to add a heaping dose of memorability to your ceremony and/or cocktail hour, hire these guys. Doing so will absolutely ensure you one-up, I mean impress, all of your friends and family with your wedding.

We had the St. Charles Quartet as a trio for our cocktail hour at our reception and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of their playing. They were amazing and all of our guests raved on how wonderfully they play! Neil is a great person to work with, and we highly recommend them for any function you may have. Neil and the rest of St. Charles was one of our favorite parts of our reception, and we are so thrilled to have them play for us. If you are going to book anyone, book the St. Charles Quartet. You will not be disappointed!

Where do we begin? Neil and the entire quartet has been a pleasure to work with in accommodating our wishes for our wedding! Not only did they take request and learn new music for us but they went above and beyond to make the whole day feel special. I would highly recommend them for any future bride and groom out there - these guys are a class act!!!

St. Charles is amazing, everyone at my wedding loved them. The songs they can play, and the range of styles of music they have is enormous. They are all very talented and really made our wedding very special. They gladly learned a new song for our first dance, and played it perfectly. I couldn't imagine my wedding without them.

Their wide repertoire and strong talent made them an ideal choice for our ceremony. Honestly I waited much longer than I should have to work with Neil on the musical selections, but they played everything we asked for with only a weeks' notice. And played with much spirit and enthusiasm. Part of the ceremony was in the rain. . . they were under cover but it wasn't an ideal or comfortable place for them. They were real troopers and didn't complain at all. We would hire them again in a heartbeat.
