Sara & Swingtime were great. Sara was easy to work with. The band showed up on time, ready to go, played the full time they had agreed to play, and were very professional. They played great music. They sounded as good or better than their samples on the Web. Sara's singing and playing were great, and the band could really swing! We were very happy with their services.

Sara & Swingtime were the hit of our USO-style party! The staff, guests, and dancers all loved them. The music was wonderful, upbeat, and selections were appropriate for the 30's-40's theme. It was definitely toe-tappin' stuff! Thank you Sara & Swingtime!

Sara is a sweet lady with alot of positive energy. Overall I can't complain with how she and her ensemble sounded.
That being said I must note a couple problems. First, the time of the wedding had to be changed, Sara assured me that was not a problem, but she arrived 1/2 an hour late. Secondly, though Sara assured us she could play a special song we had selected for our first dance, when the time came the tempo was off and hard to dance to. I don't believe her accompaniment had even heard the song much less learned it.
I believe Sara would be a great choice for background music at a dinner, but I would not recommend them for another wedding.

This was frankly one of the most difficult wedding clients in my 20 years of playing weddings, so I am not surprised that there are some points of contention. First, they requested that I not play piano, but only sing, which makes it much harder to direct the band and pull off material that is unfamiliar. Although the band did hear and learn not one but three new songs for them, none of them were in our style, so of course didn't sound the way they expected. Also, they changed the time not once but twice, and we were not in control of traffic. Also, we requested a sheltered area for the band, they put us in the open, so when it began to rain, we had to move the band

Sara and her band were incredible! I had a 1920's themed b-day party & she really set the tone with her levy voice and presence. I highly recommend her for any event. She was on time, professional and lovely.

The band was great and really hit the right tone for our party. I received a lot of compliments from my guests. Many people said it was one the best parties they ever attended and the band certainly contributed to that sentiment.

Overall great, just what we wanted for our wedding! Sara and her band have a great sound, were very accommodating and affordable. Sara did a great job playing for the ceremony as well.
A few minor complaints: It was sometimes hard to get in touch with Sara before the wedding, sometimes took 2–3 emails/calls. Also she showed up later than planned the morning of, without calling or texting.
Overall, though, would recommend to others and would book again.

They were great entertainers. I'd hire them again. We wanted music while we could visit with friends, not so much for dancing, although some did dance. Great dancing music. The classics Sarah played made the mood relaxed and fun.

Sara & Swingtime were quite simple awesome. My whole experience with Sara from beginning to end - from booking through to the event - was wonderful. She is extremely professional, but also friendly and accommodating and flexible, which made it a pleasure to deal with her and her band mates in the planning stages and during the event. Our guests LOVED the band, the atmosphere was pitch perfect, and Sara was totally amazing, working with the less-than-ideal space we gave them to play in (our best effort, but I know it could have been more perfect for them!) without a single complaint or difficulty. For the feedback record, I admit to the 1 point off professionalism as i was late arriving due to traffic, unfortunately there is no way to predict when there will be accidents on the freeway. I am not sure why one point off the "special requests" - I reduced my fee to match the budget, played the kind of music requested and was prompt in submitting the paperwork needed. I think it may be because you wanted a band that could walk around, but with a band that has a drumset and a pianist who leads the band, plays and sings all at once, that is not possible. Before the gig, Sara was pleasant and helpful while we discussed location details and logistics. During the performance, she read the crowd and played lots of favorites without a set list (my preference). The music felt fresh and divine and at the right volume the whole time. Just perfect - exactly how I imagined. Without prompting, she gracefully led the happy birthday song and started playing immediately after the candles were blown out as if on cue. Sara and Singtime greatly contributed to the one of my most memorable and treasured parties. Thanks!

All fives! No joke. If we could give her all thousands, we would.
Sara not only met but exceeded our wishes for our 1930s-style reception dinner. She was gracious from the very start--always returning our email promptly and going above and beyond to get our playlist in order. We loved her laid-back attitude and elegance.
Needless to say we were staggered by her performance at our reception. She charmed everyone and definitely set the tone for the remainder of the evening. It is now 45 days after our reception and we STILL receive questions from our guests about her. Kudos, Sara!
