Glen was professional, easy-going, warm and so talented. Our guests (from the teenagers to the oldest generation)raved about his performance and his set lists. He kept in touch with us during the months of planning and worked with us to make sure everything went smoothly. He even played my favorite song when I was sure to hear it. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a special musician for their event. I will hire him again if I have an occasion to.

Glen truly has the spirit of aloha and was able to share his aloha with my sister and her guests when we could not attend her retirement party. Living in Maui, Hawaii, we really wanted a performer who could represent us, and Glen, with his charm, easygoing attitude and ukelele did the job perfectly! We highly recommend Glen for any event..

Glen was so amazing! He was professional, genuine, and authentically sweet from our very first conversation right through to the end. Glen is amazing! He was prompt with gig quotes as well as personable. Working with Glen was such a pleasure, and having him present made my proposal a million times more special. He is VERY talented and I literally could not have asked for anything more from him. I had to change the location of the event at the last minute, and he was still amazingly accommodating. CAN NOT RECOMMEND HIM ENOUGH.

We were thrilled having Glen Roethel at our event. From the moment of our first contact with him, he was incredibly professional, yet very warm and accommodating. We had a sense he was a talented performer from what we heard on Gigmasters, but he really exceeded our expectations on every count.
Our guests couldn't believe how great he was, and he played exactly what we were hoping he would play, as well, if not better than many of the performers whose songs he was covering.
We would hire him again in a minute, and we hope we will have the opportunity to do so, unless he becomes too successful in the meantime (which seems totally conceivable to us).

Glen was amazing at our 4th of July BBQ. The weather certainly didn't start out as ideal and Glen rolled with it and provided great entertainment. The performance only got better with the weather. Glen was professional, courteous and great with everyone at the party, especially the kids. I think he had my infant niece mesmerized with the ukulele. A great time was had by all and I had to get a stack of business cards from Glen to hand out to everyone who wanted it. All in all, a great time, and we're looking forward to having Glen back at future parties...

Glen is amazing! The songs he sang for our ceremony and cocktail hour were perfect and spot on. Glen played beautifully the songs we requested for the ceremony and had a nice mix for the cocktail hour too. Countless guests commented about Glen and how outstanding his music was. Glen drove all the way from upstate NY to play at our wedding and cocktail hour in Baltimore on May 11th. We had interviewed many local ukulele players to perform "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by Iz Kamakawiwo?ole, but they all played it the way it's performed in the Wizard of Oz. Glen not only nailed the song, he played it in the same key as Iz. My husband and I could not have been more pleased. Glen kept it light and positive, even though it rained on our outdoor wedding. A true professional! We highly recommend!

Glen's talent stands out, both in his guitar playing, as well as his singing. On top of this, Glen knows how to "feel" the mood of his audience and to respond to that mood accordingly. And even better, Glen knows how to move the mood so that the audience is enjoying themselves. Glen is also entertaining beyond his musical talents. We had the privilege of having Glen perform at our recent Jewish ceremony this past weekend (10/2015). Glen did an absolutely flawless job with his musical selection, his performance, and his interaction with our guests. He was able to keep our small intimate wedding entertained throughout the ceremony. Aside from his excellent ability to perform the songs we had selected (and learning to play some new songs as well), he was able to keep my overly energetic niece and nephew thoroughly entertained throughout - even having my 5 year old nephew sit still and remain focused (a previously thought impossible task) We would absolutely recommend him to everyone.
