Absolutely FLAWLESS! We hired Mike for our party, and from start to finish it was clear he was a total pro. Contact with him leading up to the date was easy, he answered everything we asked about, we planned out the songs for the night with lighter music up front while we ate, some holiday hits, and then full on dance party for the last 2 hours- even let us use the mic for some small announcements. Stevie Wonder, EW&F, Justin Timberlake, MJ, the best was his version with the loop station of Shape of You by Ed Sheeran...what a blast. The girls loved it, even my family danced. We had sooo much fun; Mike THANK YOU for being so helpful and making this party amazing!!

Mike O'mara is not just a fantastic vocalist and guitarist, he is an entertainer! Mike was great to work with from his quote response, text follow up to ensure my music needs and wants, incorporating Italian Music via playlist download, working with guests that wanted to sing even in a certain key, taking requests. He arrived far ahead of me at the venue and was totally set up and ready to perform 1 hour before event start time. He plays a wide range of music with quality. If you have guest musicians that want to play or sing with him just let him know. I recommend him for any event.

Mike was fantastic for my wife's 40th birthday party. He arrived early, played nearly non-stop the whole time, was fantastic with all of the guests (including the young kiddos) and sounded great. He learned how to play "The Right Stuff" by New Kids on the Block as a fun surprise for my wife...not easy for a solo acoustic guitar player, but he pulled it off...make sure to request it for your party! I heard a ton of compliments for Mike from the guests...you can't go wrong hiring Mike for your event.

We hired Mike to be our ceremony guitarist and the MC for our reception. Our friend was our DJ, but we wanted an MC on the dance floor to run the show and keep the party going. Mike was phenomenal! I am a wedding planner, so I had very high expectations for how I wanted everything to go, and Mike made it all happen as if he had known me for years! His guitar-playing was beautiful. He was so professional and worked perfectly with our DJ. He kept with our timeline and made sure everything went smoothly and as planned. He was polite, friendly, and our guests loved him! Everyone mentioned how great it was having him there to keep the party alive. I recommend Mike 100%!

Our overall experience working with Mike was beyond fantastic - he far exceeded all expectations that we had!! Prior to the party, he was easy to reach and work with, super professional. On the day of our event, the weather could not have been worse, and he was so flexible and easygoing. Once he started to play, the party took off and everyone had such a good time! He even coached my 8-year old son through a little song on his guitar in front of the crowd - Mike was amazing and my son was so proud of himself! Mike knows a HUGE selection of great music and the man is a machine - he just keeps playing. We look forward to booking him again soon. Thank you Mike!

My daughter, the bride, described her cocktail hour as very romantic and magical. The music was perfect! Our guests loved the event and the music calling it "top notch." Everything went beautifully and I didn't have to worry about anything. Mike is professional, talented, and I can't thank him enough for his artistry which helped make the newlyweds' day an incredibly memorable occasion!

Mike came to my house after driving for 2 hours under a very bad rain< he called before to check it out if the party was still on because the bad weather. he was really what we're looking for he sang mixed types of songs, I asked him some of my husband's preferred and also my son He had them all. Mike is an has always been a consummate professional when it comes to gigging. He is always on time, very polite, accommodates every song request he can and when he cannot which is a very rare occurrence he usually learns that song for the next time around. As a musician he is one of the skillful, tasteful and talented bassists I have ever played with and on guitar my opinion is the same. He has no ego regarding the music that he is playing and his only thought is to play whatever will get the crowd moving. Mike's large song list has something for everyone and he can accommodate any situation from jazz standards to modern pop covers, rock, rap and r&b. Hire this man!
