As the coordinator for the reunion I wanted a group who could play and sound like the rock and roll groups we listened to in the 1960's. The Backbeat auditioned for about an hour, which was totally my fault, because I would have hired them after the first 3 songs they did. The Backbeat were very professional, and talented. They were in constant communication to insure all our needs were met. The Backbeat made our 40 year reunion a total success. All night I had classmates asking where I had found such a talented group, and that they were better than any other groups at our previous reunions. They took requests and even had classmates participating in some songs. The band will either make or break any function, and the Backbeat made ours. We will certainly contact this group for future reunions or other activities we have planned.

We couldn't have made a better choice. Thanky you so much to Backbeat for making our 3rd Annual Wandio Christmas Party a huge success. Everyone throughly enjoyed themselves and couldn't pay enough compliments to the band. We enjoyed the night dancing away to some of the greatest songs of all time. Backbeat even asked some of our guests to join them in song as well as playing the tambourine and maracas. We all had a BLAST!! Thank you Backbeat for helping to make our Christmas Party the highlight of all of our guests Holiday Season. We hope to see you very soon at the next Holiday Bash.

BackBeat did a terrific job for our daughter's wedding. Prior to the wedding they were easy to contact and responded to all our requests. At the event they were very professional and created a fun enviroment. In four hours they only took two short breaks and accomodated a few family members who were asked to sing at the reception. In all we were very pleased and would have nothing negative at all to say about their performance.

We found the band to be performing very well and they enjoyed playing, which is most important. We also appreciated their willingness to share the stage with an impromptu 84 year old that wanted to sing "La Bamba" and did so very well.

BackBeat was wonderful. I had one friend comment that they thought a CD was playing because the music was so good. They played great, fun dancing music throughout the evening and we loved every minute. The only comments I had were that I wished the one speaker in the main room was stronger or they had another so that people could hear our first dance song better and that they had announced the last dance. I think our guests were caught off guard by the rose petal departure announcement. Overall, they were wonderful and we would hire them again in a second.

We really enjoyed having Backbeat as our entertainment for our company party. They entire band was very professional and you can't ask for a nicer group of people. They have a great variety on their play list and provided a lot of great dance music for us to enjoy.

Overall I thought the bad did a good job of playing good music and getting the crowd involved. A few songs I felt were not sung on the right note so they sounded awkward. They did a great job of getting set up on time and playing until midnight....like discussed.

BackBeat was a wonderful band. They had an arrangement of music that kept eveyone at the venue involved. Thier set up and tear down was in good time and they seem to be well organized. They kept everyone up beat and on the dance floor.

It's just that people informed me that they had made requests for the band to play that night and that their songs never got played. That is the only thing that I was unsatisfied about. I can give an example. My mother requested the song "We Are Family" and it was never played. It is a song that I should have warned you would be requested. A few guests were not pleased with their selection of songs or their talent. I believe they are a good band, with some improvement needed.

We are sorry someone in your group was even slightly less than 100% happy with the band.
We thought we were well-received with people listening to the music during the meal and dancing afterwards.
We entertained many audience requests and were willing to accept more. The only critical feedback we heard was that one requested song was not played because the requester left the party early before the song was played. This was not a purposeful omission; it was a casualty of musical set lists being dramatically rearranged on the fly after your event started 90 minutes late. We played as much as we could given the unexpected time constraints!

Everything was great. Good music and everybody had fun. My only feedback is maybe doing more to help MC the event, I think it may just have been because Stephen's microphone was too low and people couldnt hear what he was telling them to do. Anyway, do more to get everyones attention before you announce cake cutting or first dance's etcetera. Not a big deal, everyone figured it out eventually, and the night still went great!

This band was wonderful. They followed our timeline and worked to make sure they announced all of the bridal party's names correctly. They even learned a song for my dad and I to dance to. I would definitely recommend them! Our whole wedding was on the dance floor the entire time.

Backbeat was wonderful to work with, not only at the wedding, but before the wedding as well. For a small fee they learned a new song for us, they performed in the small space provided with no complaints and I got several compliments throughout the night about how good they were. If I ever have an occasion where I need to hire a band, I will definitely hire them again! They were amazing.

We had Backbeat perform two evenings at our holiday dinner dance. They were VERY professional not to mention great! They had the guests out on the dance floor even during dinner, when the band was playing softer dinner music! After dinner, you couldn't find room on the floor to dance because everyone was out there. The band really knows how to get the crowd moving and shaking to their awesome music.
If you want a band that is not only very talented, but is also great for dancing, then Backbeat is your answer.
