Positives: Mr.Darin sang well at the senior citizen prom hosted by our teen daughter for her Gold Award in Girl Scouts. He dressed nicely. Negatives: Mr.Darin took a very long break at one point and guests wanted to leave as they thought the event had ended. He seemed clueless when I asked him to suggest a romantic song to sing for a special moment for two people at the event. Without my approval, Mr.Darin brought a woman to the event to dance with the male seniors. She was slow dancing with my husband (not a senior) when I had left the table to help my daughter.Both our daughters & my mom were very upset and I was told by a number of guests this was inappropriate.

This is a complete insult. I did this gig as a favor, after I was told that my orginal bid was too high and what thevenue was about. I was payed $150 and out of the $150, $20 went to Gigmasters, $24 went for gas, $11 went for tolls, there was a total of 3 hours driving time and set up and break down time was a total of 1 hour and I sang for 3 hours, now add formal wear and equipment wear and tear. This event was a complete diaster only 15 seniors showed up. The woman I took was my sister who helps me setup and she was able to get the seniors dancing by convincing them to dance. My long break was because of a suprise event the daughters' mother and boyfriend planned

Mr. Darin had been booked several months in advance for a Christmas Party. He had been advised that Christmas songs were expected. He was not prepared, Did several beautiful old songs which were very nice but we wanted to be put in the Christmas Spirit and he failed. He did not know the words to even the most popular Christmas songs. If you are looking for a Piano Bar singer, he is a great singer but not very charamastic
