I hired Dorothea to play my sister's 50th birthday party this past Sunday. We were all blown away by the group. I am a professional musician myself, and had the unique opportunity and pleasure to sit in on a couple of tunes, what a joy. The song selection was perfect, the volume, structure, etc, all wonderful. They played some Celtic music so my niece could dance her Irish Dance reel. Our whole family felt as if we knew Dorothea our entire lives. Most importantly, they all made my Mother very happy. Wow Jim, I am blushing! What a boost to our days this week! It was great meeting all of your family - - - & ahem, call me "Dori" as you did :) It was indeed a great night of music, excellent food, togetherness, & dancing! Jim sat in on "The Way You Look Tonight" since his sister happens to own Jerome Kern's chair - in which he wrote the song! Super fun time playing and being with you all, whether acoustic contemporary, jazzy or Celtic tunes. SO VERY HAPPY u loved the blend & sound levels. Your family is precious & kind. Mom was happy. It was a real pleasure working with Dori! She is the sweetest person and made the planning process so easy. Hiring her to play the violin before/during our ceremony was the prefect touch to our special day. My husband and I had a special song request and she was able to make it happen! Dori and Andrea performed at our wedding on July 29, 2017 at The Southern Mansion in Cape May, New Jersey. They sounded great and were amazing to work with through the whole process. Dori was always easy to get in contact with, and guided us through the whole music planning process for our ceremony. We even had a little weather wrinkle in our plans, and Dori was able to make a few adjustments to make our day still go as smooth as planned. Thanks!

Cannot say enough good about Dori! She was literally amazing. She played the exact song I dreamed of and made it work. The guests loves her so much that we asked her to stay to hang out with us when she was done playing! I will be booking her again 150% she made the day perfect and is such a kind soul. They were amazing. They were on time and set up on the beach promptly at the time we agreed on. They played beautifully on the beach making the ceremony surreal for me and my husband. In the reception they were amazing. I couldn't be happier with chosen them. They were the perfect fit for our afternoon cocktail reception .

I cannot speak highly enough of Dorothea Conlin and the services provided on my wedding day. All of our requests were happily met and when we weren't sure what we were looking for in regard to the music, Dorothea's recommendations were stunning. The cello and violin combo were gorgeous - our guests loved the music and Dorothea herself is a wonderful, kind, and extremely talented person. The music played during the ceremony was definitely one of the highlights of the day and I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you so, so, so much for all of your hard work and professionalism. The musicians played beautifully. The only thing that I wasn't happy about overall was that during the planning process it took a very long time (sometimes a month or more) to get a question answered, even after sending multiple emails and making phone calls. Other than that, fantastic!

Hi Jane! ~ I am so glad you liked your "fairytale music", and I am glad you could provide the exact songs you loved! It was beautiful on the duet. I want to apologize if some questions you had were a bit delayed inour little one person office, as we were finding & moving my Dad to a new house in another state... and cleaning out 50 years of living at his old house during last year & early last year! Phew! (Our family home, & had do be done between Oct & Feb.) Finally sold it in the winter and we survived trying to work in our little office at the same time!) thanks for being patient, hope you two are well ! :) Dori
