Mighty Real Band was very accommodating in driving from Dallas to Houston for my event! Very friendly & stree-free in planning & the reception turned out great! Very talented and even learned 2 songs that my Dad wanted to hear! The dance floor was packed all night, they even brought Elvis in to do do our 1st dance Elvis - I can't stop falling in love =)

Real mighty band was great. Coming from a music background I'm very picky about bands and we loved Real Mighty band. They created so much energy, played great music and they became the talk of the evening. I've been asked for their info twice because people want them for other events. They were also great in helping us run the event (wedding reception) they confrimed the timeline with us and did a great job running the entire evening. I never had to worry about a thing all day, they really took charge. I would reccomend Real Mighty Band to anyone.

I hired this band for our special event. I just want to say that - this band is really good. They play a lot of different styles. The have an amazing sound. In my option - if you are looking for a band that can play everything, you can't go wrong with these guys. I recommend them and will use them again for future events

my only bad experiences with this band was all due to the booking agents. They did not get across to the band my needs evens after 4 phone calls and 3 emails explaining my special needs for this event. It was not until the band arrived and had 4 pages of conflicting time lines and instructions . I explained it directly to them one time in under 2mins. and they understood totally and happily solved the problem We had some special situations arise at the event and the Band was willing and able to solve it. The crowd enjoyed the band very much and I as a Party Planner would use them again.

:

We are very detailed and meticulous during the preparations of all our events. Our events are very important and top priority to us. We want to make sure we have all the correct information, as accurate as possible, at least one week prior to each event. Raymond didn't provided us the final details for the event until the morning of the event. We quickly responded! Accommodated the event! The event was great! Raymond as contacted us to do future event!

Wedding Reception•Reviewed on May 17, 2011•From Glen Rose, TX

The quality and selection of the live music were incredible. However, I had some issues with the band. They played at my wedding reception, and when they announced us for the first time, they said the wrong name for my husband. They used hismiddle name, which he NEVER goes by. Also, when we asked the band to make an announcement that S'mores were ready by the campfire, the front person said "SMOLDERS are ready" at least two times. It was confusing for people and I was disappointed. Our entrance song went on for way too long. They should've known to cut it once we entered and were standing in front of everyone looking like idiots waiting for our first dance to begin.

:

We are very meticulous about everything we say and do at wedding reception. The bride e-mailed us the names as she wanted them announced. She e-mailed us his first name, middle name and last name. We announced it just as she e-mailed it to us. We did announce the S'mores are ready 4 times. The entrance was beautiful & the music was grand. What happened during the entrance was - the guests didn't want to stop applauding, cheering & whistling. They have a very enthusiastic group of friends. We had to calm them down before the 1st dance. Everyone was having a great time. The guests thanked us and asked us for business cards. They booked us for another event in Aug

Dinner Dance•Reviewed on October 8, 2012•From Irving, TX

We had a few miscommunications about the schedule for playing, and although the band adjusted at the event to accommodate what we had originally requested, there was a period of awkward silence and they only adjusted after arguing with me about what I had told them we needed. After we got that cleared up, they did a great job playing for the rest of the night. So, if you are going to hire this band, just make sure you are crystal clear as to what you expect of them. When I asked them to play a few more songs, I was told it would cost me more money! Good music and performance, professionalism and communication needs work. Don't argue with the client.

:

We thoroughly documented the timeline provided to us by Amy Kasper/Arthur Murray Dance Studio, 1 month before the event. We verified the schedule again - 3 days before the event & Amy gave her approval. Our scheduled time to play 8:00p-11:00p. We setup & sound checked @ 4:00p. Amy told us to start playing @ 6:45p. We calmly reminded Amy that we were scheduled 8:00p-11:00p. Amy insisted that we play from 6:45p-7:00p. We played 6:45p-7:00p. When we stopped, Amy insisted that we continue playing till 7:30p. We played till 7:30p. We never argued nor charged Amy. Note: Amy's DJ was scheduled to play from 6:45p-7:30p. We saw Amy being mean to her DJ. We saw him leave.

New Year's Eve Party•Reviewed on January 7, 2013•From Dallas, TX

Their score would have been higher had they not brought guests to a Private Club NYE party.

:

We would like to thank Stephen for the review. We would like to say that the band didn't bring any guests with them to the NYE party. Upon arrived several of the club's guests recognized us from before & invited us to sit with them at their table before our performance, this was at 7:30p.m. Our start time was 8:30p.m. As a courtesy we socialized with several couples prior to 8:30 our start time. We are friendly and like to socialize & ask for song requests from clientele. At the end of the night the club's guests started leaving & saying bye to us while we were packing up. We made our exit alone. No guests ever left with us.

Anniversary Party•Reviewed on March 24, 2013•From Carrollton, TX

Great people, great band, just not too sure if they were up to par with the previous reviews. The reviews were somewhat deceiving. When we searched GigMasters, we selected Top40 band; however, I truly believe GigMasters must screen better. Please don't get me wrong the band is excellent, but just not for Top40 music. I hope that the band doesn't view this as offensive, but this is just personally advice. Please stick to the genre you're good at which is oldies music. We SPECIFICALLY asked for top40 and the band threw in "Special Requests" that no one requested. I don't want to offend the band, but I also don't want other people to consider them for what they aren't.

:

We opened with Dynamite-TaioCruz, Call Me Maybe-CarlyRaeJepsen, Thats what Makes You Beautiful-OneDirection, Sexy & I Know It & Party Rock Anthem-LMFAO, Poker Face-LadyGaga, Britney Spears, Bruno Mars, Adele, JustinBieber, JennniferLopez, PitBull, Maroon5, KatyPerry, Taylor Swift, BlackEyedPeas, & many others. We taught the guests line dances. "THE GUESTS WERE DANCING,SINGING & HAVING FUN" There were a few "OLDER" members that kept asking for 80s and Country. We played 90% New top40 & 10% were guest requests. Sean gave us permission to accommodate guest requests. He said he wanted the guest to enjoy the music & have fun. Sean L didn't like the guest requesting.

Halloween Party•Reviewed on November 1, 2021•From Mansfield, TX

Mighty Real band was great for our party. They played music across the decades to reach our group of various ages and kept us up and dancing to their upbeat tunes!! Great addition to our annual Halloween party!!
