Our wedding reception will give us memories to cherish and talk about for a lifetime. It was a huge success largely because of the Jody Hughes Band. I honestly couldn't ask for a group of guys more talented, professional, accomodating, and just simply so enjoyable to be around and listen to. Jody and his band went above and beyond to set the mood for a great time had by all. I would recommend them to anyone not only looking for an accomplished bluegrass band, but as skilled musicians with a true talent and passion for their craft. Thank you again Jody!

Jody and his band are absolute pros! They tailored their performance to perfectly fit our venue. We made a special request for our first song and the guys owned it! It was an incredible night made possible by these guys. We could not have asked for a better performance and all of our guests (of all ages and backgrounds) really loved it.

Our guests, my husband, and I agree that the Jody Hughes Band is a talented group of musicians who play well together. Their renditions of instrumental Americana tunes are especially wonderful. I wish I had taken more time to just focus on their music on the wedding day but regardless, they enhanced the atmosphere and entertained our guests. In addition, the Jody Hughes band is accommodating, flexible, and affordable. They learned songs to that we requested for the ceremony and special dances and made changes to set-ups and schedules to allow us to have our ceremony outdoors in-between rain showers without hesitation or complaint.

The Jody Hughes Experience is the right choice for upbeat, casual, mulit-generational bluegrass music. We had friends and family from 2 to 72 dancing to the music! A good time was had by all.

Jody Hughes and his band are fantastic. They played at my wedding – ceremony and reception - on April 12th. They showed up on time and were able to role with the punches easily. They sounded terrific and really helped set the mood making my wedding amazing. Jody was also wonderful to work with, he answered any questions I had promptly and they were able to learn a special song I requested. They did a great job and would be a great choice for anyone looking for a band.

It was a pleasure to work with the Jody Hughes Band and have them play at my wedding reception. Jody was very pleasant to work with leading up the date. He responded very quickly to emails and made sure all of the songs we wanted were played. Jody was available as a solo artist to play for our ceremony, he was fantastic! We loved the Bluegrass sound and it made our families from Kentucky feel at home in Atlanta. We received so many compliments regarding our music and I would book them again in a heartbeat. Many guests commented on how good the band was. Further, Jody & his crew were very flexible in accommodating our needs on-the-fly (to pause for announcements and even to take the music outside for a little acoustic intro for the guests). Highly recommended!

We hired the Jody Hughes band for our rehearsal dinner at Sun in my Belly. Our guests had a fabulous time, and this band was an essential element of the party's success. Excellent, talented musicians. I would recommend them to anyone and would hire them again in a heartbeat.

The Jody Hughes Band did a fantastic job at our reception. Jody was extremely professional and very accessible through the whole process. We talked over the phone and exchanged several emails about the music we were looking for. They even allowed my sister in law, who plays the violin, to join in for a couple of songs... The entire band was extremely talented and I would highly recommend them for your event.
