I could not possibly have been more pleased. We hired TM for our wedding, and they were fantastic. Wildly accommodating (learned an extra song on short notice so I could make a fool of myself serenading my bride), tremendously talented, and an absolute joy to work with. I could not give a more positive recommendation. True story: the next morning, my mother-in-law took me aside and said, "You know, I had some doubts about the band you picked for the reception. The website was sort of dark and brooding, and I worried they wouldn't be any good. But they were absolutely the best! Thank you so much for picking them!"
Also: they're worth way more than they charge.

Talking Machine was perfect. Song choices were great, levels were great and the crowd loved them. Our outside event was pushed in due to a rain out and they handled it perfectly, getting the volume right on the first try.We couldn’t have picked a better band for the event!

Working with Talking Machine was fantastic. They were ready and waiting before the event, well prepared and beyond accommodating. Their set was fantastic and their instrument playing and voices were phenomenal. They made you want to sing along! I hired them for a corporate event and everyone really enjoyed their music. They immediately offered to allow our CEO to give a speech using their mic and sound system. I would definitely rehire and recommend them!

Talking Machine is the best! I needed a band to perform for our corporate event and needed to find one in less than 24 hours, which is not an easy thing to do! Not only was Talking Machine quick to respond to my request, but they were also very accommodating to my schedule and budget. They showed up on time and were so organized and put together, it was a real pleasure working with them. They put on a great set and had everyone dancing and singing along. They are my go-to band! I would HIGHLY recommend them to everyone!

Me and my bride were blown away with Talking Machine. They learned a few new songs just for our event and they nailed them. We also picked 20 songs off their diverse song list. My family and friends who were musicians and those who were fans of music were just glued to Talking Machine playing our cocktail hour. They came dressed to impress, and we're accommodating when our cocktail hour ran a over an hour. Really pleased as pie, if you need live music for your event give these guys a try. You won't regret it.

My wife and I had Talking Machine perform at our cocktail hour. They did an unbelievable job! I was approached by several guests asking who they were and where they were from. Prior to the wedding they were very helpful with providing information. They have such a song selection to pick from for all types of audiences. Such a no brainer. Talking Machine really made our wedding day even more special. I highly recommend them to perform at any event particularly a wedding. They were AMAZING at ours!

Absolutely incredible! TM was so accommodating and professional throughout the entire process and night of the event. All of the guests are still talking about how AWESOME they were. I requested a few songs prior to the event and I was blown away by their renditions. I actually like TM's version way better than the original. So the question now is why are you still contemplating this? BOOK THEM! You won't regret it :)

When you hire true musicians good things happen.
We were incredibly pleased with Talking Machine and their performance at our wedding. Chris and Dianne were able to not only deliver a great wedding reception performance but they also succeeded in taking care of the cocktail hour and the wedding ceremony. Furthermore, they came through with all of our quirky requests (IE iPod DJ breaks for foreign music).
In addition to the strong musical skill they possess, Dianne was an incredible resource leading up to the wedding with her frequent communication on all the crucial details of the event.
We do recommend adding the drummer for adding a dance beat

You simply can not and will not be disappointed with Talking Machine! They did close to 5 hours for a private party that I threw, and they quite simply OWNED it. Every single guest commented on how awesome they were. The set lists were staggering, covered everything you could want. Not to mention the several songs they prepared at my request. Myself and others at the party are making arrangements with places we visit to get them booked! Incredibly talented, incredibly accomidating.......well, simply, incredible. What a truly wonderful experience they helped create for our guests and our event! We hired them for a very small wedding reception (around 35 people). We were looking for entertainment that would go with our theme- "good food, good music, and a nice intimate setting." Guests ranged from 18-68 and they ALL danced, sang, and were merry. I don't know if TM would consider themselves wedding entertainers, but after our function, it is clear they are capable of performing and succeeding wherever they go! If you enjoy music you'll enjoy this band. HIRE THEM. Chris and Dianne, we wish you the best of luck and can't tell you how happy we are to have had you play for us:)

Talking Machine was exactly the right sound we wanted to provide for our guests at our celebration. Their vocals were fantastic! I personally had not heard some of the songs they covered in years. It was great working with them and we appreciate the distance they traveled to perform for us. Minor confusion at the end of the night because we thought we could use the gigmaster website to make our final payment the same way we made our deposit. We now know to ask future performers to clarify method of final payment. Thank goodness for paypal!
