John did a wonderful job playing at our wedding - the music was the perfect accompaniment to our cocktail hour, ceremony, and dinner! I was so busy with everything going on at the wedding that I hardly got a chance to talk with him, but he handled everything exactly as we had discussed via email ahead of time! Which was another thing I really appreciated, John was always extremely responsive to my emails - typically I would hear back from him within a few hours which was great for my peace of mind! He was incredibly accomodating to my last minute changes to our wedding songs and was just a wonderful addition to our wedding! I would certainly hire John again!

John Wayland Harr played for our wedding ceremony and reception. He learned our song especially for our ceremony and played it beautifully. We left the playlist for the reception up to his discretion and he chose a great selection of music with no pauses throughout the night. He was also willing to make a few small announcements for us, which we greatly appreciated. We were very impressed with his talent and performance and would highly recommend him for any event. This was a Birthday party for my wife- so it was important to me. John helped me determine the music style I wanted, sent a demo-tape of his skill with that style, got their early to set up and be ready on time and performed perfectly-
I would absolutely recommend him and will use him again for sure.

I could not have been happier with John. He was perfect and very flexible. There were some last minute add-ons during the ceremony that I forgot to tell him about and he went with it and reacted exactly right. His experience and skill as a musician were very apparent, I felt totally comfortable trusting him and just told him to play whatever he felt like playing, with very little direction he was easily able to accommodate. I would HIGHLY recommend him.

Talented, professional, accomodating! He handled the music list beautifully on the day of the wedding with no rehearsal because we were having a destination wedding in WA. He told us in advance he would play any requested special songs but in the end we didn't come up with one in all the frenzy. His music was so beautiful and special, in the end we almost gave no parameters but after hearing his music on his site we were so confident it would be perfect. His timing was impeccable and I want to add he played in the forest, with no amp, holding an umbrella in his shirt pocket in the cold--very beautifully and professionally. Our guests raved. John was absolutely fantastic! Everyone else I talked to charged an arm and a leg for custom arrangements, and really didn't understand the style I was going for John was a complete pro - learning the songs in exactly the style I was hoping for (it was seriously magical when I could hear him start to play the opening chords that I was going to walk down the aisle to. Simply perfect) :) He responded quickly to every email, worked with my officiant, and even drove all the way from OR to the Seattle area.
Let me save you time searching around for a solo guitarist to trust with your wedding...go with John, and you can relax knowing that you're in good hands.
