Matthew performed far beyond our expectations at a recent birthday party. From cocktail hour through his fifth encore song almost four hours later, he entertained almost nonstop with great guitar and cool lyrics. At the end of the night I feared the guests were going to chain him behind the microphone. They would not let him leave.

We had Matthew perform yesterday for our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding celebration. I have to admit that I was a little apprehensive about hiring him since we never heard him perform live before. I found him to be very polite and accommodating and a wonderful person. After hearing him perform, he was everything we hoped for and more. His playing abilities, as well as his wonderful voice made our event ever so special. I felt like he was part of our family. He went above and beyond what I could have expected. This was the 2nd year we had Matt play our party & he was really great. He gave us an excellent performance. Everyone at the party had a great time with him & you could tell he was really enjoying himself as well. He was very accommodating by coming early and giving us an encore. He spent some time before our party learning some new songs for us which was really appreciated. He even told us he would record a copy of one of them because we liked it so much. Overall, our party was a huge success in no small part due to Matt's talents. We will definitely use him again in the future and would recommend him to anyone who's looking to have a fun and entertaining event!

It was a pleasure to work with Matthew. He was friendly, reliable, helpful, and extremely talented. He arrived at the ceremony very early so he was ready to play well before people entered the chapel. Matt did an excellent job at a Brunch for our son and daughter-in-law who recently got married.
He arrived early and continued playing until almost everyone left the event, which was way past his booking time.
Matt is extremely talented. Many of our guests compared him to James Taylor. He tried very hard to please everyone. Matt is someone who truly loves what he does and it shows in his work.
Many of our friends will be using Matt for future events.
His recording on his web site really doesn't do him any justice. Even though he sounds great, he is much better in person.
We would not hesitate to hire him again.

Matthew went above and beyond our expectations of him for our wedding ceremony. He learned and mastered at least 4 songs we asked him to learn and all were completely different from others. He brought 4 guitars with him to accomodate our wide variety of song requests and moved through them smoothly, with no interruption. He listened to our vision for our ceremony and then helped to create and realize that vision.
