Over the past few months, you might have noticed that we’ve changed our name—GigMasters is now The Bash. Currently, we’ve updated our logo and URLs to reflect GigMasters rebranding to The Bash, and have made some updates throughout the site, with more to come!

Although our name has changed, as The Bash, we will continue to offer the same services as we did as GigMasters. Our mission is to connect vendors with party planners to celebrate all of life’s special moments—no matter how big or small.

We will continue to iterate and grow The Bash brand to become the all-in-one, trusted destination for event planning and pro vendor expertise.

Why Rebrand GigMasters?

The GigMasters name has resonated well with our vendors over the years. Moving forward, we want to create and build a brand that is inclusive to both our vendors and planners. Our goal is to better serve all party hosts and planners with a more complete planning experience—from inspiration to planning to booking.

We’re here to help make event planning easy and manageable, and we hope that our service will inspire and empower planners—and connect them with the perfect event vendors and venues. In the end, planning all celebrations and occasions should be enjoyable and stress-free!

A Timeline of GigMasters to The Bash

  • Since 1997, GigMasters has connected party planners and hosts with the perfect entertainment and event services for every occasion.
  • In June of  2018, The Bash was launched in New York City to test a one-stop party planning platform. We learned a lot and validated findings around a complete booking experience. We also learned that the brand name ‘The Bash’ resonated well with our users.
  • In July of 2019, we decided to expand The Bash nationwide by merging it with GigMasters, and rebranding the combined site as The Bash.
  • In January 2020, we launched venues in New York and Los Angeles. At this time, we also began removing references to GigMasters across the site.
  • In April, 2020, we launched venues in Chicago. We also revealed our official new logo, a redesigned navigation and footer, and color updates to reflect our new brand style.

What’s Next?

We’ll continue to iterate on our new brand and will update different parts of the site throughout the rest of the year. Our venue listings will also continue to expand to major metro areas throughout the United States. All of our social media channels have been changed to reflect our new brand: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest.

Throughout our rebranding efforts and moving forward, our traditional GigMasters services remain the same. Planners can browse local vendors, receive price quotes, read reviews, make payments online, and book with confidence. Local entertainers and party vendors can join, get leads, secure bookings, and get paid online. And, venues (outside of New York, Los Angeles and Chicago) can join a waitlist to be notified when The Bash is live in their local area.

Many Thanks...

To our planners and vendors (some who joined GigMasters in 1997) and have utilized our service throughout the years—we thank you for your support and look forward to continuing on this new journey. Let’s keep celebrating together!
