When you choose a wedding venue you're probably looking at things like décor, ambience and location. But once you've chosen the venue, you have to work with it. Your wedding entertainment wants you to think about a few things.

Make sure the venue has enough power circuits, that there's room for the band to dress (after setting up), and that there's adequate parking.

If you need to move microphone/speaker equipment between the ceremony and the reception keep in mind the time it takes to move the equipment from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception.

If the cocktail hour and reception are in two separate rooms, make sure you let the entertainment know that so that they can coordinate and not be setting up in front of your guests. That looks tacky.
