FuneralReviewed on December 8, 2021From Fort Smith, AR

He arrived early, was set and ready when the procession arrived. As soon as the military flag was presented, he began to play amazing grace and then walked away to achieve a fade off effect, that had all in tears. He was an ultimate professional and I would highly recommend him and hire him again.

:

Emmett, Thank you for the Five Star review! I appreciate it and your comments very much. It was a pleasure and honor to play my pipes for your father's memorial at the National Cemetery in Ft. Smith, AR yesterday afternoon. A true American hero has taken his eternal rest; God rest his soul. Kent Pharaoh 'Amazing Grace Piper'

Kent was an excellent piper in every way imaginable. He was very professional, accommodating, respectful, & fulfilled every wish/request for a lovely funeral for my special daddy. My family, guests, relatives, friends, complimented Kent on his performance & me for hiring/making such a lovely service for all. My long-time Pastor said it was a performance like no other he had seen. Many thanks to Kent. Definitely saved his number in my phone! Dr Kennette Hughes

Wedding CeremonyReviewed on November 12, 2019From Catoosa, OK

My son's wedding took place in a small backyard under a full moon with the Amazing Grace Piper filling the air with magical bagpipe melodies. Kent Pharoah was indeed as magically charming as was his music. He told the story of the songs he played for us as he intermingled with the guests then he faded into the background and let the pipes surround the ceremony space with beautiful tones until the ceremony began as the bride walked down the aisle to the wedding march. From the moment I booked, Kent, he kept in contact with myself and my son to make sure every detail of his performance was exactly what we wanted. My sincere thanks to Kent...highly recommend!

:

Thanks, Christy, for your compliments. It was a genuine pleasure making your acquaintance and that of your son and his bride, Annie. "Lang May Their Lum Reek".

FuneralReviewed on April 24, 2018From Independence, KS

Gosh, if you had a 10 rating i would have used it. Kent is the most concerning, caring and sensitive pipemaster. He was exceptional in his organization skills of making sure I was covering all bases for our graveside service. He called the sexton, the funeral home, went over and beyond of what I was not thinking of to make our day and service run smooth.it rained of course. I feared I would not hear these beautiful tunes on his bagpipe. The funeral home director held a giant umbrella over him to protect both man, clothing and instument. God bless Kent, thrilled to have him accept our invitation to come back to our old family home for nurishment and conversation. WOW!

:

Thank you for the kind words. My appreciation to Potts Funeral Home employee, Vern, who graciously sheltered me from the elements as I played for the service. And, I tip my glengarry to the chef for the delicious BBQ meal following. It was a genuine pleasure making your and your family's acquaintance on that rainy Saturday afternoon in Independence, KS.

FuneralReviewed on May 17, 2017From Oklahoma City, OK

Kent Pharaoh's Scottish music together with a slide presentation was the highlight of the memorial for the memorial service for my inlays Dr Hugh and Jane Conner. He had to learn a special song "Annie Laurie" which was played at my inlaws wedding in the 1950's as well as ours. He played Scotland the brave at the Processional to the Cemetery internment. A Finale of "Amazing Grace" at the gravesite was moving. He gave not only of his talents but his heart and soul as well to his performance. Thank you Kent for being a part of our family and honoring the memories of Dr Hugh and Jane Conner, what a great honor to have you play.

:

Thank you for the invitation to play my pipes for your family's memorial service. You have a beautiful family and a wonderful Christian heritage! Hugh Kent Pharaoh

Wedding ReceptionReviewed on May 7, 2017From Arcadia, OK

What a great experience! Kent Pharaoh was a joy to have and complete our Scottish wedding celebration. Nice person, from the first inquiry to the day of the Wedding, Kent helped me make sure we had it all covered. Only with Kent's experience would we have known to plan and exceed, what we had initially hoped for. Kent went out of his way to engage and speak to our Family & guests sharing with them the meaning and background of his formal kill attire and Beautiful music. Mr. Pharaoh's suggestions for song selections and placement were perfect! Thank you, we will certainly ask can't to attend for other events in the future!

:

Robert & Sandra, Robert, you and your groomsmen looked smashing in your kilts and Sandra, you looked very beautiful in your wedding gown. It was my pleasure meeting your family and friends at your Scottish wedding. Thank you for the invitation to play my bagpipes for your nuptials. "Lang May Yer Lum Reek". Kent
