The performers were very professional and accomodating. Our venue was not the best, and they graciously accomodated our needs by being flexible and responsive. They are very talented and entertaining and I am looking forward to using them again, with a venue better suited to highlight their talents.

Darrell was fabulous, he played the songs I requested, perfectly. His rendition of Amazing Grace was awesome. As he played, he slowly walked away from us at the cemetery, at the same time as my mothers body was slowly being driven away to her final resting place. He timed it perfectly, we were all in tears and at the same time we felt a sense of closure as he walked away, the sound trailing as he goes. I highly recommend Darrell Calvillo, he truly made a heartbreaking day much more bearable, I am forever grateful.

As a first time person to hire a bagpiper it was the best experience my family and I have had. The sounds he made with the pipes we're flawless. Darrell calvillo is now my go to guy for the bagpipes.

What an awesome experience. I surprised my husband with Darrell as I walked down the aisle. He was completely shocked and overcome with emotion. This meant so much and truly made our wedding day so unique and meaningful. It added the Scottish touch he so wanted. Darrell was so professional and easy to work with - selecting the songs which we worked into our ceremony. 5 stars and many thanks.

Darrell was excellent! He did exactly what I requested plus more. I had only requested one to two songs during the recessional of our weding and he took it upon himself to stay longer and play a few songs during cocktail hour which was greatly appreciated! Thanks Darrell!!

I loved the addition of the bagpiper to my wedding event. My parents loved it as well. I was not going to do it for financial reasons but I decided to and I was soooooooooooo glad I did. He was on time, professional and dressed perfect. My only regret was I didn't have him walk us in on our grand entrance. I wish I would have. But he did a great "Danny Boy" for my parents. Thanks so much Darrel...you were great!

I didn't know who to chose for a bagpiper, but not only did Darrell have great reviews and awards he called me when I was getting multiple quotes. I felt he was truly interested to play and appreciated his reaching out. We all were so impressed wuth his performance. He started playing down the street so his entrance into the backyard was very impressive. Everyone was moved by his playing. Very nice man too.. Highly recommend.

Darrell was the icing on the cake at my father's big birthday party! Everyone loved having him there. It was a small party of about 20-25 people and the hottest day of the year so far in Palm Springs, so we kept things inside until the sun went down. Darrell kept cool and played a few songs at a time and then mingled in between so that it wasn't overwhelming. We not only enjoyed his music but also his knowledge and stories about the bagpipes. It was an excellent party and I would absolutely recommend Darrell for any of your future events!

Darrel came on time and offered more help than we expected. He understood that this was a very stressful time for me and my family and did exactly what was expected without much direction. At the end of the song we asked him to play he slowly walked away while still playing which gave a nice fade effect to the music. I highly recommend him for any gathering.
