Pipe major bill boetricher was very cooperative when the time of our daughter's wedding had to be changed. Also it started to rain just before the ceremony and he still piped (not sure of that is the correct terminology) them up the aisle.in the rain. Never made us feel rushed. We definitely recommend him.for an occasion

Bill was absolutely incredible and made my mother in law’s 80th birthday so special. She talked about it for days. He was so easy to schedule with and so accommodating. And on top of that, he’s world renowned. Knowing all the incredible people and dignitaries he’s played for made the fact that he was playing for us even more special. Because of COVID we had to do it over zoom, yet it still felt so memorable. If you need a bag piper, Bill is your guy!

It was a perfect experience, 10++. Bill was punctual, beautifully groomed and in full dress. He began playing at the front door down a long hallway to our outside venue. He played all songs I had requested and took the time to answer questions and give a little history of bagpiping. From age 4 to 84, everyone loved him and he held rapt attention. We will enjoy Bill again. Thank you Bill!

I needed a bagpiper for my friends Celebration of Life and came across Gigmasters. I chose Pipe Major Bill Boetticher and from the very start, he was so nice and easy to talk to. During our first conversation, he offered me his condolences for the loss of my friend (who was part Scottish) and was very open to my ideas of why his special talent was needed and how his being a part of my friends farewell would be a poignant end to a very special day. He offered suggestions of songs and sent me links so I could listen and choose. He arrived right on time, was very professional, personable and most importantly, he played beautifully. I can't thank him enough.

Bills participation at my brothers memorial service was incredible and created such an awesome environment. It can't get any better than an expert bagpiper playing Amazing Grace. His knowledge of memorial service edicate was extremely helpful to me. I do feel bad for Bill because it was so cold and him standing in his formal attire must have been difficult. My only regret was that I forgot to get a joint picture with him, such an opportunity missed. In closing, Bill was highly professional very punctual, adhered to my expectations; there were no surprises only pleasant memories.....thank you again Sharon

Piper Major Bill was perfect for my godparent's 50th wedding anniversary! He was super helpful on coordination as this was a surprise party. The guests loved him and my godparents can't stop talking about it! We were so thrilled to have him join the party! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a bagpiper.

Wedding at Beckmen Vineyards, Los Olivos. 26th June 2016. Bill was just fantastic, from our first telephone call to the final arrangements and the tunes we requested he was super professional and friendly. On the day he was prompt and looked spectacular in his highland attire and he made sure he played everything we asked for and more. Bill was fantastic! He went above and beyond. He was attentive, had great suggestions (we ended up using all of his suggestions) and was very easy to contact. I also have to give him extra credit for being patient. I called him a few times with questions, last minute changes and he was kind and helpful. He did such a great job we actually paid him to play even longer at the last minute. Our guests still talk about how great he was and he was kind enough to take tons of pictures with our friends and family...and he even agreed to be a part of a staged photobomb (which is one of our favorite wedding photos) I highly recommend him.
