We hired David to play at my mother-in-laws 90th birthday party and David was extremely professional and friendly. He was easy to communicate with during the booking process and up to the event. He did a great job performing and was very accommodating in taking lots of photos with our family. My mother-in-law (originally from Scotland), enjoyed talking with him after he played for us. I would highly recommend David and we will use him again for any future occasions if the need arises.

I will always remember David in my heart, as we walked in the pouring rain and wind for my Husband's memorial service. David led the procession and played His Bag Pipes with such strength and admirable candor during the toughest circumstances and shined bright during one of my darkest and most sad moments. David is an experienced World Class Bagpiper, and one of the very talented and amazing performers we hired to perform at our 50th Golden and Royal Wedding Anniversary Celebration. He was very professional, friendly, and did everything we requested. His performance was incredible, and everyone who attended our event enjoyed his performance. David Ibboston was amazing at our wedding over the weekend.
His performance was one of the many highlights aside from my beatuiful bride. The bagpiping set the tone for the whole night and made for wonderful evening. He was awesome in his recommendation in selecting the wedding party song, the bridal entrance, and our grand entrance announced as husband and wife. Mr Ibboston is a true professional and the best bagpiper around. Thanks again for an amazing wedding.

My siblings and I hired David Ibbotson to perform at my Dad's Celebration of Life on Sunday, 1/28/12. David was great! He was on time, friendly, respectful and very accommodating. When my father entered the house for his surpirse party and heard David playing it brought tears to his eyes! My father turned 82 & David contributed to making an incredible day for my father! David took time in between playing and spent time talking about Scotland. The whole family enjoyed the experience! David took time to chat with everyone. David played perfectly spectacular at my friends Wedding Ceremony. I was uncertain how bagpipers play in a wedding, he suggested some options which worked out brilliantly. He looked very professional with his neatly pressed Kilt and his clean uniform. When David started playing for the wedding party, the beautiful music made the whole event come alive.
Then he started playing the Bride down the aisle and she seemed like she was glowing. Everyone kept commenting on how awesome the Bagpipes sounded, and this would be a Wedding that they would always remember. David was just amazing. I wanted something special for my dad that is from Scotland and was turning 92 years young. David went to my parents house to play for my dad during the day at a time that my dad would be feeling great. My dad he laughed, he sang, he smiled, he cried and yes he was even dancing. I am so thankful for the amazing gift David was able to give my dad and that was a very special memory just for him. Thank you David you are truly a gentleman, a professional and a true Scottsman.

Piper Dave was the greatest gift we gave to our mother on her 86th birthday. He was on time, he worked well with us as we negotiated pulling off a COVID era surprise outside birthday party with a bunch of octogenarians, he was calm when the police arrived (turned out they were there for someone else but the photos are such a great addition to the bday collection of him with his bagpipe and skirt and lots of cop cars in the background), he played beautifully and he stayed and chatted with a very talkative group of old ladies. Thank you Piper Dave, our mom will talk about this for many many years.
