Piper Dave was wonderful! He truly made my mother's funeral very special. He was accommodating with last minute requests and the music was perfect. The highlight of his performance was when he piped and led us to the grave side of my mother. It was something I will always cherish and was beautiful beyond words. There were a lot of compliments from the family on choosing Dave and I would highly recommend him.

David Ibbotson was very easy to work with. We hired him through Gigmasters one week before the event, and I spoke with him on the phone to go over the details. He showed up a half hour early, was dressed perfectly, and played the requested songs beautifully. My family and I were very happy with him and would absolutely recommend him to others.

Yesterday we scattered at sea our parents' ashes. My mother was from Scotland and, as a child, I took bagpipe lessons myself. David's performance was just what we needed in order to make the event complete. He was personable, professional and punctual (which is a good thing, as I had mistakenly directed him to the wrong location).

Piprdave was great! When we arrived at the venue Dave was already there and wearing traditional clothes. He was professional, respectful and played very well. My kids got a kick out of having their picture taken with him. I would absolutely recommend him to others looking for a professional bagpiper! Thanks Dave for adding a special touch to my mom’s service.

he came early to be instructed on when and where he was to perform. Followed instructions perfectly. Very effective for the funeral service (some said they were o.k. until the bagpipe started, cried). I would hire again if ever needed.

David showed up early and, introduced himself. I showed him where he was to perform and he did so immediately. Played the songs that we requested and a few of his own choices. The crowd thoroughly enjoyed it and applauded after each song and had a nice conversation with him afterwards then offered him food and drink. If you ever need a bagpiper to perform for you for any occasion, I would highly recommend David. He's very professional in all aspects. Thanks again David, you were the best!

Dave performed at the memorial service for our mother. He has a soulful presence. Dave played the bagpipes beautifully and from his heart. Everyone was deeply moved. Dave incorporated our requests with ease and grace. We were so happy to have him become part of the service. We feel lucky to have had Dave as our bagpiper and would highly recommend him.

We are so happy that David played at our wedding! He was professional and very accommodating . He is an amazing bagpipe player, I had tears in my eyes pulling up in the car to him playing. All my guests commented on how beautiful it was. I highly recommend David. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere, he's the one lol

Mr. Ibbotson was very professional at the Memorial Service for my father. His timing was great as he provided the Prelude for the service. His musicianship was superior and provided the beginning tone for the service that we had envisioned. Our family highly recommends David to others who wish to have a sensitive musician for their function.

David agreed to come perform for us on extremely short notice. He arrived early and was professional in every way. David is extremely talented in his playing ability. His overall appearance was impecible. He mixed well with the crowd after the performance and was very personable and gracious in answering questions in an informative way about his instrument and skills. Dave Ibbotson (piperdave) provided traditional bag pipe music for my best friends departed husband Ceremony of Life service. He made contact with her a number of times before the service to make sure the music selection and its order. Dave arrived early and quitely prepared for the ceremony . Dave opened the ceremony, played in the middle and at the end. Each song was flawlessly performed. A true artist and a man of stature.

Piper Dave was excellent. He played at my father's memorial service and was very professional throughout the whole process. Very easy to contact, well-planned, guided us through the Gigmasters process, and was open to our plan for the service. Dave showed up early to the venue and executed the plan very well. Many thanks to Piper Dave. We hope to use him again, but for a happier event next time. Many thanks again. Stop researching and just book him.

Very professional, looked great in his kilt! This was a surprise for the guests at my daughters wedding, he played the theme from "Star Wars" on the bagpipe, it was fantastic! He also played a few traditional tunes which the guests loved.

Piperdave is totally awesome. He piped in the Birthday boy at the Party which really got the Party Rocken. He also hung-out and played Electric Bagpipes later with the Band. We Defiantly have to hire Dave for our next Party.

David was exceptional, very professional, & really, really gave us "the perfect send-off" for my father. The gravesite service could not have turned out any better & I would recommend him to anyone; if asked to do so. My family couldn't have been more pleased nor more touched by his performance. I hired him without telling the family so it came as a great surprise to all. Just lovely.

David was one of my husband's favorite parts at our recent wedding--and we had a harpist, violinist and barbershop quartet band! He was also very willing to accommodate my requests to keep his appearance from my husband and the guests a secret until after they announced us man and wife. His traditional garb was great and the music was so beautiful. Everyone really enjoyed his bag piping!
