Dennis wants to make sure he does what the client expects. He is thorough and a good listener to client's objectives and direction. He made the family and friends very happy with his playing. He led the procession and his fade-away exiting was very heart warming. I received many compliments about him and his pipes. Very well done and all were pleased.

Dennis was absolutely wonderful! He was the first musician to respond to my inquiry for a bagpiper for my wedding, and he sent me a very thoughtful, detailed response that included samples of his music. He was responsive in the months leading up to my wedding, chose a beautiful musical selection to play before and after the ceremony, and arrived early enough that I got a chance to meet him briefly beforehand. He and his drummer played absolutely beautifully, and it was a very special touch that meant a lot to my husband, our families, and our guests. I can't recommend him enough! Great experience! Dennis and Denise showed up over an hour early for the ceremony and they played exactly what, how, and where we wanted. COVID planning has been difficult and fragile, but the Duncan’s were incredibly reliable. While the music was great, I was most impressed with the communication. Dennis responded to emails within the hour, and he was both accommodating and understanding about the rushed last details. Very impressed with the whole experience. So professional, they could charge much more than they do. Loved it and would certainly recommend!

A friend of mine had to postpone her elopement in Scotland due to the Coronavirus. Thinking she might be feeling sad, I contacted Dennis to surprise her with some bagpipe music. We made a plan for the surprise just a few days in advance. As the week progressed my friend decided she wanted to proceed with getting married - just in her neighborhood. Keeping the music a surprise, Dennis worked with each change of plans as an impromptu wedding took shape. He was responsive to all communication and so pleasant. He (and his wife Denise, the drummer!) arrived early and did an amazing job. Would absolutely hire him again in the future and highly highly recommend him to you.

Interviewed a few bagpipers for my mother's funeral, and he struck as the best choice in many respects. He exceeded our expectations in every aspect. His playing and attire were pitch perfect. He was very early, and texted me on his arrival at the cemetery, while we were not even finished with the funeral at the church. It was a busy traffic day in Atlanta and then we had to wait for a nearby graveside service to finish before we could begin. He lead my mother's casket to the graveside with Going Home and finished our service with Amazing Grace and Taps. He was pleasant and the consummate professional. We could not recommend him highly enough -- truly.

Dennis drove from Georgia to participate in our event in Central Alabama, as there were no bagpipers available in our area. He was dressed professionally appropriate, was personable, responsive to our requests and desires. Everyone was very pleased, and he added a very traditional touch to our event.
