Although the weather was terrible, Don was at the cemetery on schedule, and performed beautifully. I know that our son would have been very pleased with this tribute to him. Thank you, Don, for bringing some brightness to us on a very dark day in our lives. Rudy and Irma Eppler and Family

Don is a consummate professional. He arrived at the service quite early & began a mini bagpipe concert for our family as we awaited the beginning of the service, honoring my precious father-in-law. Don was handsomely attired in his family's tartan kilt. It was quite warm out but Don remained undaunted by the weather. After the service Don played Amazing Grace & Scotland the Brave while moving away from the group. The fading pipe was quite dramatic. We are so grateful he shared his extraordinary talent with us. Don has played at other family events in the past and he always does a superb job. Thanks, Don!

Don is incredible. He is very very talented and extremely professional. He is also very personable and easy to work with. I made several changes to our song list and Don continually said "no problem." The day of and right before our wedding, he was a calming, and yet funny presence to a slightly nervous bride. We highly recommend Don Shannon.

Don was delightful. Stayed longer than originally planned to make sure all of the guests heard him as they arrived. (we had some late arrivers) Really enjoyed his music. Great personality. Would strongly recommend Don for your party or function.

Don played beautifully for my Mothers memorial service. Everyone there remarked on how wonderful it was. Don was personable,professional and prompt. Don kept in contact with me before the service and was very helpful with music choices. I would recommend him anytime to anyone.

Mr. Shannon was in constant contact with me. Showed up in plenty of time. Very accommodating, friendly and personable. When he finished playing Amazing Grace, there was not a dry eye in the house. I have received numerous praises from attendees long after the event.

Don is professional, reliable, and has a passion for the projects he works on...Don has a great heart (and it shows in his artistic work). Don was one of the most talked about highlights of our Cedar Hill War Dog Memorial Ceremony. There was not a dry eye in the house for his moving rendition of "Amazing Grace". Don's performance skills and personality make him a true treasure...our board is proud to call him our friend!

Since my husband is Irish and no longer has any family I wanted to have a bagpiper play at our wedding as a surprise to represent his family. Don was so sweet to pretend to be a friend of my cousins when he arrived at our lake home. I told him he could stand at the top deck since the ceremony was being held about 60 steps down a cliff to our dock. He insisted that he could play and walk down the steps at the same time. My husband thought it was the DJ playing until he saw Don coming down the stairs. It brought him to tears and Don's playing was the highlight of our special event. Thank you, Don!

I couldn't have been more pleased with Don Shannon. He played Amazing Grace for my father's private family funeral. Mr. Shannon was very kind, professional and outstanding bagpiper. My father was career military, public service and dedicated family man. Mr. Shannon helped to give him a proper send off. I would definitely recommended Don Shannon.
