Community Event•Reviewed on July 4, 2018•From Washington, DC
A talented musician, Duncan got caught in a bit of a logistical issue finding a place to put his instrument case as we were meeting on the Capitol steps to march to one of the Congressional office buildings. He handled it with professionalism and managed to make it not be a problem. Most venues would not present this kind of logistical challenge. Would hire him again!

Great guy, great entertainer. Sometimes the bagpipe can only be taken for short periods of time...

Church Service•Reviewed on May 28, 2013•From Towson, MD
I had expected Duncan to arrive at 9:30 for he and I to talk before our church service started. When I looked for him a little after 9:30 I didn't see him but was able to connect with him 10 minutes later.
He played very well and was very accomodating!

Funeral•Reviewed on December 4, 2011•From Gaithersburg, MD
He did not show up to perform at my father's funeral on November 26th- I called Duncan, and he called me back telling me his alarm did not go off... Really?! I couldn't believe it. My father loved bagpipes and my whole family was super excited to have one play at his funeral. I am disgusted, that Duncan's ALARM didn't go off. That is NOT professional AT ALL.
:
Ruth, I appreciate you're honesty and there is no excuse for what happened. It's utterly inexcusable that my alarm failed to go off and that I overslept. I'm deeply sorry and feel horrible about my mistake. I hope this apology suffices on some level. I've learned a hard lesson and I guarantee this will never, ever happen again in the future.
